good questionaire for a games page!
the wine taster is $15 at the church.  it doesn't say how many wines.  have to compare it to abc's and see if its worth it?  the church also offers 2 biscotti with coffee for $1 in their european cafe.  you can't beat that.  they also had the large chocolate chip cookies as 4 for $2 and a live swing band with musicians of all ages.  totally love that church.  they really do a wonderful job with alll of their events, or whoever is in charge of the events does a great job.
the small dog almost ruined the day "disappearing" again.  this time not her fault.  she did the get outside the fence and go to the edge of the main road again, so the guy doing parking at the church picked her up and brought her to one of the stands.  wth?  she LIVES here, she is allowed to run on the lawn.  seriously.  wth?  also found out from cdy down the street, that when the dog vanished several months ago, it wasn't the drama that the woman at the shelter said.  cdy says it was her friend that picked the dog up and it was right down the street where the dog goes for her walks by the water every day.  she was NOT three blocks away at all.  the dog jumped into her friend's car and the friend didn't know what to do.  (now if we could just find the cat that supposedly did that i'd be verrrrry happy).  amazing what shelter personnel come up with, write down what someone says VERBATIM and then it won't throw everything off.  seriously.  cdy says the friend gave the shelter the fire department as a LANDMARK along with the church.  the woman never said the dog was at the fire department or at the church, she was explaining that cdy's house is NEAR there.  so at least i know its not going far away.  i was starting to think the dog had dementia as that would be quite a bit of wandering.
the dog going 4 houses down the road, isn't really going far, i think that is still normal.
also talked to the new tenant that babysits her grandchildren, one is a 7 month old premie that is the exactly the same weight as the 4 month old that rn babysits.  as always a drama with it --  she trades babysitting with her daughter (she has 3 daughters) and is trying to get custody of the infant from her 18 year old daughter, but the father is abusive.  she also claims that there is a romeo and juliet law in florida that allows 14 year olds to date 24 year olds.  when did that happen?  going to look that up.  i thought it was no more than TWO years or its statutory rape?  she is from altoona originally.  what a hoot.  that is where bda's father was stationed during WWII and when he went to the reunion he says it was the only town he has ever been in that looked EXACTLY the same 50 years later.  he could walk around and it was like it was still 1943.  wow!  she went to college in york and her husband just died, complications after a hernia operation - malpractice at the local hospital down here.  anytime you hear someone went there its like, okay, who did they kill now.  the only hospital i know of that is worse than that is coney island hospital in new york city that kills people ALL the time and st. joe's hospital in new jersey - though hospitals like that must exist everywhere.  scary.  her daughter works for the company that makes frontline flea med and pet action plus and advantage and they are local, so wonder how much it would be directly from them?  we'd have to split a case of it probably.  its that time of the year.
she's only here temporarily.  she says they did increase the rent for the long time tenants (3 years) and those tenants moved rather than pay the increase.   the price they want to charge them, they could get half a duplex for the same amount - even a new one if they went to one of the towns north of here.

Romeo and Juliet laws were passed.

Florida Statute 943.04354, titled, Removal of the Requirement to Register as a Sex Offender Under Certain Circumstances relieves many teens of the requirement to register as sex offenders.

The statute states that a sex offender may be relieved from registration requirements if, among other requirements:

c) Is not more than 4 years older than the victim of this violation who was 14 years of age or older but not more than 17 years of age at the time the person committed this violation.

Modified Age of Consent
So, a 14 year old and an 18 year old; up to a 17 year old and a 21 year old; are allowed to have consensual intimate relationships, without fear of the life time stigma of sex offender status.

This Romeo and Juliet law was passed quietly without fanfare. Changing the age of consent was passed without the media frenzy that accompanies stories of sex offenders stealing children in the night.

Many young registered sex offenders may not be aware that they can now request they be relieved of the obligation to register as sex offenders.

(this is still ambiguous because the law does mention a person age 17 with a 23 year old boyfriend/girlfriend, that is six years not 4? wth?) it also mentions a 16 year old with a 23 year old and i think that is going too far.

i just remembered something. there was a girl when i was in junior high school, she was 17 and in a different grade, her \"boyfriend\" was 27 and kind of bald and wore glasses. this girl ALWAYS looked older than she was, even as a little kid. she had an \"old face\" kind of thing. still does. i saw her on facebook recently. he took her to her prom and from what i hear, they married even though she would have just been starting college. they live over by tampa somewhere. so back then it was legal? or was it only legal if your parents didn\'t call the police about it? seems like its so hard to be young nowadays, so many rules, everything monitored and strict, like a police state actually. scary.
