Happy Monday! :) Garden tending, getting ready for tropical storm, and cool collectibles! :)

Happy Monday! :) We're enjoying a nice day :) Blossoming into the new week, with some nature walks, garden tending, and we're also preparing for the tropical storm that's coming up the coast. We've got a tropical storm warning here in CT. We did some more preparations, getting our yard, home and everything ready, as the storm is gonna begin to impact our state tomorrow afternoon, into wednesday. i'll keep everyone updated here on DS, and through text. We're ready for the storm. We've got lots of nice supplies, we're stocked up on foods, water, flashlights, batteries charged, and will be home, indoors, riding out the stormy weather. keeping everyone who is being impacted by, and in the path of the storm, in our thoughts and prayers, wishing everyone safety, and comfort :) along with our preparations today, i did some writing, cards, and also finished up a nice new letter :) We heard from our dear friends ,my ds mum (Bloss) and her family :) they're doing well, in Australia :) it was so nice, getting to connect :) We treasure your very special friendships :) Holly and i have the sports talk radio on, also checking out the latest weather updates, and gonna watch our show tonight :) The stormy weather is forecasted to begin around 2pm tomorrow. We'll get a chance to go out early to get some treats at mcds, and will be home, and staying indoors after :) our plants, and garden are doing well, continuing to grow, and flourish :) We secured some of the plants today, in preparations of the stormy weather coming. We believe our plants will be fine, and we hope our trees in our backyard and neighborhood will be ok too :) Thank you angel friends, for all of your heart-felt well wishes, hugs, and great support :) We appreciate you all very much :) We're enjoying blossoming into the new week :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We look forward to going out early to get treats at mcds :)

Blossoming into the new week! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a nice day :) our thoughts, and prayers are with everyone, being impacted by, and in the path of, the storm in the atlantic that's coming up the coast. wishing everyone safety, and comfort. overnight, the national hurricane center posted up a tropical storm warning for our state. The storm is gonna begin to arrive here tomorrow, 2pm into wednesday, is when the weather is gonna be the most stormy. We're gonna be hunkering down here at home ,indoors. it's been a while since we've had a tropical storm warning. the irene storm, and sandy storm in 2011, and 2012, were the last times we had a warning here. We've been taking some more precautions, preparing for the storm tomorrow. We're stocked up on supplies, foods, water, we also have batteries, and charging up our batteries too, just incase. We're gonna be on the windy side of the storm, like irene storm in 2011. We'll be all hanging out, keeping in touch with everyone, and are hoping and praying everyone makes it through the storm, safely, and that the power doesn't go out. i'll keep everyone updated. We have sunshine here today, and are making the most of the day, with sunshine, time in nature, tending our plants, securing our home, and our yard and garden, as we get ready for the tropical storm that's coming. keep safe everyone. This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) We're so thankful for the sunshine today, and taking all precautions, preparations we can, to ensure our home, and yard is as safe it can be, as we get ready to ride out the storm. having been through storms before, it's best to be prepared, just incase. i was up early this morning, getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) our nature friends have been enjoying visiting our yard and garden :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk : )i put lots of goodies, in the bird sanctuary area in our backyard :) it's one of my favorite areas of our yard :) lots of birds, and squirrels visit this area, and we have lots of trees out there. :) we're hoping, and praying our nature friends, and trees will be ok, through the storm. the winds are going to be coming in direction of the bird sanctuary area, we're about 15 minutes from the ocean. the trees we have out there, wouldn't be able to fall on our home, due to the distance, and height of the trees. We'll be monitoring the backyard, often during the storm, looking out the door/windows. We're very hopeful, and praying the storm passes through quickly, and that the nicer weather returns very soon.

Our plants, and garden are doing very well, continuing to grow, and flourish with the spirit of the summer season :) it's so neat, to see how much the plants have grown :) We love to see the flowers blossoming, growing so nicely, lots of fruits, vegetables :) the bees have been very busy in our garden, pollenting the blossoms on the plants :) we love the bees, and seeing happy ladybugs too :) it's always a nature adventure each day, in the yard and garden :) We've been enjoying picking fresh garden goodies, lots of zuchinni, string beans, and snap peas :) the cucumbers are growing more and more, and we've got some blossoms growing on our Kentucky wonder pole string beans :) We love our garden,and all of the love, energy, and spirit we put into our garden :) from tending the plants, picking goodies, and enjoying each garden day to the fullest :) our snowball bush is beautiful, along with all of our other flowers :) We feel so proud of our yard, garden, and plants :) our plants are strong, and gonna make it through the upcoming tropical storm. We have a beautiful blossoming burgundy sunflower :) We'll be ready to tend our plants, after the storm passes. We're gonna watch closely, our sunflowers, and popcorn plants, that are taller plants. We look forward to our garden continuing to grow, and shine all throughout the rest of summer season, and into the fall season :)

Today, we've been hanging out here at home :) We double checked our to do list, for preparations for the storm. We're stocked up on goods, foods, water, batteries, and charging up some items. We put down our umbrellas, and secured our chairs in our backyard, cookout area, and also picked up other items. We have a trampoline in our backyard,we put some heavy bricks along the outside edges, to put weight on the trampoline, to make sure it's secure, and doesn't flip over. We're feeling confident, and comfortable in the precautions we took, to make sure our yard, and home are ready for the stormy weather. We've been checking out the latest weather updates, and also tuning into some sports radio today too :)

We're enjoying a nice day, blossoming into the new week, with some simple joys :) my family, Holly, and i are doing well, healthy, and in good spirits :) We're enjoying some nice foods, and drinks :) We've been checking in on the weather forecast, and also tuning into the sports radio :) The stormy weather is gonna be here tomorrow night, into wednesday. We'll get a chance to go out early tomorrow morning ,to get treats :) We love sweet treats tuesday :) We'll be charging up our batteries tomorrow, just incase of power outages on tuesday night into wednesday. will keep everyone updated. Our Summer Time garden! :) Greetings, from our garden on this beautiful summer day :) it's very nice, sunny, and our plants are soaking up the sunshine, spirit soaring in the garden :) Holly and i gave our plants a watering, and enjoyed some nature walks :) It's amazing, and wild, how today is such beautiful weather, and how tomorrow will be tropical storm weather. we love our plants, and garden, and our yard :) we took some more precautions, preparations today, making sure our home, yard, and garden is all set, and ready for the stormy weather. we're so proud of our plants, and their incredible journey, that will continue all throughout the summer season, and into the fall season :) i took some new pictures of our plants today, to share with everyone :)

cool new stamps :) i bought some new stamps on ebay too :) i bought another statehood stamp (Rhode Island), and a cool star wars Yoda stamp :) The Connecticut statehood stamp i bought last year :)
