HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!!! :) THE RUN FOR THE ROSES!!! :) WELCOME TO THE MOHEGAN SUN CASINO!!! :) it's a DERBY DAY PARTY CELEBRATION!!! :) GO HORSES GO!!! :) Krispy Kreme iced coffee CHEERS!!! on this sweet classic, and golden sunny DERBY DAY!!! :) IS EVERYONE READY FOR THE DERBY!!! :) GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF THE HORSES and GOOD LUCK ON THE PICKS!!! :) This is so much fun, and SUPER MEGA SWEET DERBY AWESOME!!! :) whoooooo hooooo!!! :) We're enjoying an amazing day! :) MOHEGAN SUN VISIT, and betting on the Kentucky Derby! :) it's the 140th RUN FOR THE ROSES!!! and it's on this evening! :) Whooo!!! :) my #1 pick, #10, WILDCAT RED!!! :) my mom, dad, and i had a nice time going to the Mohegan Sun Casino today, to place our bets, at the Racebook, for the Kentucky Derby! :) We did some studying in recent days, and this morning, and went to the racebook, they have HUGE horse racing screens there! :) The slots machines all around the casinos! :) my mom and dad played the slots! :) my dad went up to place our bets :) We got some awesome picks! :) my mom played some show tickets, my dad played exactas/boxes picks, and i played 4 horses, 3 across the board bets, and a win ticket! :) woot! woot! :) We're so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) we're gonna be cheering on the horses this evening! :) it's one of our favorite days of the year! :) DERBY DAY!!! :) we hope everyone's derby picks go great! :) 19 horses, will be running, for the history books, and derby glory forever! :) this is awesome!!! :) it was so nice at the mohegan sun today! :) it didn't seem that busy! :) my mom, dad, and i went to the Krispy Kreme donuts shop, i got a nice iced coffee, and my dad got us some donuts! :) mmm mmm! :) we walked around the casino a bit, saw some cool slots machines! :) What a day! :)and we got an awesome derby to CHEER and CHEER!!! this evening! :) i'm super pumped up and excited! :) LETS GO HORSES! LETS GO!!! :) all the way to the victory! :) win or lose, we all are WINNERS Today! getting to celebrate, this amazing derby day! :) The horses are at the Churchill Downs in Kentucky, and it's the countdown to the big race! :) we have gorgeous weather here, and the season of spring, is blossoming all around! :) i may do some gardening tomorrow! :) Enjoying this wonderful day, the spirit, the moments, and excitement of the day, that makes the Kentucky Derby, MAGICAL! :) we love it!!! :) GOOD LUCK HORSES! :)
It's the 2014 Kentucky Derby day! :) i got special welcome and greetings, from the Mohegan Sun Casino in Unvasville, Connecticut! :) i took lots of pictures there today, during our annual visit to the Mohegan Sun, for derby day celebrations! :) this evening, shortly after 6pm, it's the 140th Run for the roses! :) my mom, dad, and i love the Kentucky derby, we are huge fans, and we love to celebrate this day to the fullest! :) This is one of the most exciting days of the year! :) i'm sipping my krispy kreme donuts iced coffee, i got my derby tickets here, and i even got some free krispy kreme donuts hats today! :) hehe! :) CELEBRATING the derby day, and the spirit of the day, that makes it shine and glow with excitement! :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day! :) We're just a little over an hour away, from the 140th Kentucky Derby! :) we're super pumped up, and excited! :) This is the day we've been waiting a year for! :) the derby! :) it's only once a year, the 1st saturday in May! :) my mom, dad, and i had an awesome time today, going to the Mohegan Sun Casino! :) it's right down the road from us, we can actually see the casino hotel from our yard :) it's so huge! :) We love our annual visits to the Mohegan Sun, we go during the triple crown season. :) Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont :) These 3 horses, are the triple crown :) today's race, is the 1st, in the series :) it's been a long time ,since a horse has won all 3 of the races in a row, but we're always hoping for a triple crown champion! :) it's very exciting, cheering on the horses! :)
This day, is rocking, and rolling! :) We got the derby excitement, plus, it's our most beautiful day of spring time, so far! :) it's nearly 70 degrees, sunny, and the birds, are all out and about, along with the bumble bees, spring blossoming all around! :) it feels like, and looks like, spring! :) it's amazing, the difference a few day makes, and how some sunny sunshine, and warm weather, can really help us blossom into some awesome spirited joy! :) all week, my mom, dad, and i have been looking forward to derby day :) our dear friends Gaye (LuvMyTitans), her husband Bob, and their family go to the derby each year, this year, Gaye has been recovering from back surgery, and didn't get to go, but i know she still loves derby day so much, and i always remember those years she called, and i heard the excitement in everyone's voices, in the crowd's voices, and also, hearing. "my old Kentucky home!" song playing! :)it always echoes in my heart! :) Gaye texted me today, she mentioned she's at her parents home, and may call me just before the race begins this evening :) We love celebrating the derby with everyone :)
MOHEGAN SUN, HERE WE COME!!! :) This morning, we had an awesome morning, sunshine, warm weather, i got my lucky derby keychain that Gaye and her family sent me back in 2009, to bring me good luck! :) last year, i hit a cool winning ticket, with the #4, Golden Soul horse, that i won $58 on! :) this year, i picked some new horses, to place bets on :) my mom and dad, were looking at the derby websites, and also making their picks :) we love to make our picks, and the thrill, and excitement of cheering on our favorite horses, it's absolutely incredible! :) we have so much fun, and have the time of our lives, celebrating the derby day with everyone each year :)
Around 12:45pm, my mom, dad, and i made our journey down to the Mohegan Sun casino :) i texted friends, and also enjoyed seeing the malerba's farm, and peaceful pond on the way there :) The casino is so close to us, it's really amazing! :) we saw some Mohegan Sun buses, we usually park in the parking garage, but this year, parked in the parking lot, and took the inner entrance :) The mohegan sun, has 4 main entrances :) There's, Casino of the Earth, Casino of the Wind, Casino of the Sky, there's all 4 season entrances :) We went in, the Winter Entrance today :) We were walking along thishuge pathway, the carpets, and also wall designs, featuring animal drawings, is really neat! :) i had my camera, and was taking some cool pictures to share with everyone :) i was so happy to take the pictures :)
We were walking into the main part of the casino, it wasn't that busy there today :) i took some cool pictures, of the Native American, Mohegan Tribute art, we saw a huge canoe, plus these huge bright shandeliers, along with this sunny area, that the sun shines right through the casino roof glass! :) it's amazing!!! and spectacular! : )We took the escalators down to the main casino area, and walked over to the smoke-free slots machines area, near there, is the Racebook :) The Racebook is really cool! :) There's lots of HUGE screens, featuring the racetracks around the states, from Churchill Downs, Preakness Stakes, to the Belmont, and lots more! :) they have many screens, and people can sit, and watch the races, placing bets :)
my dad went up to place our bets :) my mom and i were hanging out near the broshures area, i picked up lots of cool broshures to bring home :) my dad placed our bets, and we then walked out back into the slots machines area :) my mom and dad played the slots for a bit :) they didn't win, but it's always exciting trying too :) i didn't play the slots, as i wanted to use the dollars to bet on the derby :) i spent $20 this year, on derby bets :) HERE ARE OUR BETS! :)

We're so happy and excited with our picks! :) We love cheering on the horses! :) i love across the board bets, if the horse comes in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, i win money :) after my mom and dad played the slots, we walked around the casino, and then went to the Krispy Kreme donuts shop :) i got a nice iced coffee (their iced coffees are just like tim hortons!) :) my dad also got some donuts for us :) we got some free krispy kreme donuts hats! :) SWEET!!! :) my mom, dad, and i then began to make our way outside :) we took a nice long route, to walk outside, we saw lots of people playing the slots, the machines buzzing with excitement! :) it's very dim lighted inside of the casino, it's very relaxing/comfortable for me, i felt very relaxed inside there today :) it was so nice! :)You all were right there with us in spirit, our sweet dear wonderful guardian angel friends :) We saw some really cool sights inside the Mohegan Sun casino today :)
We began to make our journey home :) my mom, dad, and i were talking about the derby :) We're very excited about it! :) on the way home, we saw some happy ducks, swimming in the peaceful pond :) awww! :) i couldn't wait to share with you all, about our Mohegan Sun derby day adventure! :) i'm so happy and excited about sharing, and also have some awesome pictures to share :)
