HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!!! :) the 145th Run for the Roses!!! :) Derby Party!!! :) Greetings, from the Mohegan Sun Casino, and Convention Center!!! :) Go Horses Go!!! :) it's derby day!!! :) one of our favorite days of the year!!! :) We're so happy and excited!!! :) The excitement of derby day is incredible!!! :)We're enjoying an amazing Derby day!!! :) oh my! :) wow! wow! wow!!! :) we love derby day, so very much! :) Holly's 1st trip to the Mohegan Sun Casino!!! :) She was absolutely amazed by all of the sights!!! :) We're celebrating one of the most exciting days of the year, and traditions, Kentucky Derby Day!!! :) Mohegan Sun Adventure!!! :) my mom dad, Holly, and i had a super fun, and sweet spirit soaring time at the mohegan sun today :) You all were right there with us in spirit :) we went through the casino and to the convention center :) Holly was so excited and thrilled to see all of the mohegan sun casino sights, including the slots machines, native American artwork, lights, waterfall, restaurants, and the statue of American Pharoah horse :) it was very exciting, just Holly's reaction to everything , was so cool, and all of the excitement of the derby day, and mohegan sun derby day party! :) We placed our bets at the convention center, for the derby this evening :) we got a free, collector's Kentucky derby 145th run for the roses, t-shirt! :) sweet!!! :) Holly and i took our pictures next to American Pharoah horse statue! :) we took lots and lots of awesome cool  pictures :) we were deep into the casino, and taking in all of the incredible sights, sounds, and moments :) it's 1st race of the triplet crown :) we have our derby tickets all set, and are ready to cheer on the horses this evening :) Holly and i have decorated our table for derby day with decorations :) we got foods, snacks, and drinks :) our dear friends Shirley (Squarley), and Bruce have been texting us, they placed their bets, and our dear friends Gaye (Luvmytitans), and family have been texting us, they are at the Kentucky derby, Churchill downs and our dear friend Judy (Ladybug7) texting us :) this is such an incredible day, that we'll always and forever cherish and remember :) many special memories being made :) we're so happy, excited, and thrilled to share our new pictures with everyone, from the mohegan sun! :) We went shopping today too, at the dollar tree :) we got some awesome gifts, goodies, and treasures :) The spirit of spring season is all around :) it's such an exciting and wonderful time of the year, with lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) its very special to our hearts, getting to celebrate with you all, our dear friends :) it was so nice, going shopping today, and to the mohegan sun casino to place our bets :) derby day is so exciting, and filled with lots of moments, that are awesome cherished memories :) We're so excited and thrilled to watch the race this evening, and cheering on the horses :) Holly and i picked out a new movie to watch tonight :) Tomorrow, i'm going to write a letter, cards, and also putting together a treasures package :) We're gearing up for some awesome gardening this upcoming week too :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for sharing in, and celebrating these special times with us :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives :) Cheers!!! :) The run for the roses is this evening, the big race is coming up :) everyone who is watching the derby, we hope everyone enjoys the race :) Go Horses Go!!! :) Good luck to all of the horses and jockey's :) wishing them a safe trip in the derby :) Enjoying a super mega sweet ,spirit soaring day, with family, friends, and the spirited excitement of Kentucky derby day :) This evening, and Tonight, the Kentucky Derby party, and popcorn movie party are on!! :) woot!! :)

MOHEGAN SUN DERBY DAY CELEBRATIONS!!! :) greetings, from the Mohegan Sun, Convention center, and casino!!! :) The excitement has been building up, to the big derby day :) we've been counting down all week, looking forward to the derby :) it's one of our favorite traditions, and events of the year :) it's 2 of the most exciting minutes in sports :) this evening, all of the horses will be running for the roses, and 1 horse, will be the derby champion :) It's very exciting, and so much fun celebrating in such an incredible tradition, that's in it's 145th year now :) my mom, dad, Holly, and i have been planning our trip to the Mohegan Sun Casino for derby day :) around mid-day today, we were all set, and ready for our mohegan sun adventure!!! :) my mom, dad, Holly, and i enjoyed a nice car ride down to the mohegan sun :) we drove past the malerba's farm, golf course, and peaceful pond :) we were looking for the ducks and geese :) Holly spotted a duck :) She was very excited, as this is her first time going to the mohegan sun casino :) over the years, she's loved the pictures, and our sharing of our adventures going there, and for her to be going there for the 1st time, it's very special to us, and to her :)

We arrived at the Mohegan sun casino, the huge hotels there are very tall :) Holly was amazed, and taking some pictures after we parked our minivan in the parking lot :) earlier today, and in recent days, we finalized our pictures for the derby :) we were all pumped up and very excited for the day and experience :) the mohegan sun is incredible, it's huge place, with many casinos and so many sights to see :) we walked into one of the entrances of the casino, and walked along the hallways :) We entered into one of the main areas, and saw lots lights, chandeleers, and native American artwork :) Holly was taking pictures with her phone, and i was taking pictures with my digital camera :) when we entered one of the main areas where there's a huge restaurant waterfall, Holly said, "whoa! wow!!!" :) she was amazed, and it was so exciting, hearing her reacation to all of the sights, and sounds of the casino, and areas :)

there's a waterfall, and this huge purple and pink light display, restaurants, and lot more, including shops :) we were walking, and taking in all of the sights, and sounds  :) we were by one of the casinos, and they have 007 slot machines, and all kinds of many other slot machines :) we were walking over by the convention center, where they have a special derby day party, celebration :) i was texting with our dear friends Shirley (Squarley), and Judy (Ladybug7) :) Holly was sending me some pictures on my phone, to share with friends :) the convention area has a cool area, where they have a statue of the legendary race horse, American Pharoah who won the triple crown in 2015 :) Holly took a picture off me standing next to the statue :)

my dad went into the convention center betting area, and my mom, dad, Holly, and i were sitting down on some seats there :) we walked a lot, and it was nice sitting down :) my dad was placing our bets, and we were seeing lots of people all around :) i mentioned to Holly, about how they have comic conventions and how some stars from the twd show have been to the convention center :) my dad placed our bets, we had spent over $25, and got a coupon to get a free Kentucky derby t-shirt :) sweet!!! :) its so neat, i love to collect the shirts over the years, they're a great souvenior, from mohegan sun Kentucky derby day :) i love those collectibles :) it's such a nice derby day tradition :) after we were all set, at the convention center, we walked through some of the casino area, and i took Holly's picture by the waterfall :) She was soaking up all of the experience, of the sights, sounds, of derby day celebrations, and is so happy and excited for the experiences of seeing everything at the mohegan sun casino :) we walked around some more, and saw some more of the restaurants, shops, and also the cool slots machines, and the huge hotels they have there at the mohegan sun :)

We enjoyed such a wonderfully fun, exciting, and awesome time at the mohegan sun casino :) Holly was texting with her family, sharing pictures, and the experience :) we had so much fun, and will always cherish and treasure the very special memories made :) Holly said, she is amazed by the mohegan sun, and my dad was talking about how where we went, was only a 1/3rd of the casino, and how there's so much more :) Holly wants to go back to the casino with us again very soon :) it was so neat, her reaction to everything, and all of the cool pictures we got to take, and the great memories made :) we thanked my dad for placing our bets in the convention center :) we are so happy and excited, for Holly's 1st trip to the mohegan sun, and we are looking forward to going back to the mohegan sun again soon :) the preakness stakes is in 2 weeks, and are so excited, for all of the great joys of this very special day being shared :) we're so happy and excited to share our adventure and pictures with everyone :) Happy Kentucky Derby day smiles! :)

This morning, we had a very special new day, rising and shining :) Derby day! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all of your beautifully heart warming comments :) we're so happy, and thrilled that everyone enjoyed our baking friday adventure :) that warms our hearts, and brings us smiles :) we had lots of fun baking the cookies, and breads :) the goodies are very popular, and going fast :) we'll definitely bake some more :) we're enjoying our spring time baking friday's, so very much, and looking forward to many more, super fun adventures as the season goes on :) it's been an awesome stretch of days, and an awesome joy, blossoming into the Kentucky derby day and weekend :) it was a sweet peaceful, and joyful morning, as the new day was blossoming :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies this morning, and went outside, for a nice nature walk :) it had rained overnight, but thankfully the rain eased, and the sunrise sky was clearing a bit as the sun was rising up :) i enjoyed a wonderful view from our kitchen window :) when i went outside, everything felt fresh, and replenished, the nature, trees, bushes, and plants all doing really well :) i heard some happy birds singing :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love gathering the goodies :) our fruit trees are blossoming, and with the warmer weather, and sunshine coming soon, it's gonna be a flourish of bumble bees out and about, pollenating the fruit trees :) we hope for a big growing season :) it's gonna be awesome! :)we look forward to some gardening days coming up, this upcoming weekend, with weather in the 60's, and 70's, and getting some awesome gardening time in, including planting sunflowers, popcorn seeds, flowers seeds, and maybe even some string beans too :) awesome!!! :)

It was a sweet morning :) we enjoyed a nice breakfast, and also having some iced coffee :)  cheers! :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS this morning, writing to friends :) i also made a list for some nice items i wanted to buy at the dollar tree :) i've been enjoying some awesome online shopping this week too, with buying some items with  my gift cards, and also bought some gifts, and treasures :) we're putting together a goodies/treasures package to mail next week :) we're so happy and excited! :) i recieved my new leather belt i ordered on amazon :) the belt is about $13 at walmart and i was able to get the new belt, with my gift card on amazon :) it's very nice, i really needed a new one :) my old one had broke, and i was using duck tape to keep it together. it's great to have a new leather belt, that will last a long time :) i'm also so thrilled, as i recieved my wonderful new 1898 San Francisco Minted Morgan Silver Dollar, that i ordered on ebay :) it's a beautiful coin :) there were only 2.1 million of these coins minted at the San Francisco mint :) it's a very rare mintage number :) i'm so happy and excited to add my new coin to my collection :) it's my 3rd morgan silver dollar in my collection :) my collection is growing :) i love my new nickels books i got on amazon :) i'm so thrilled to start a nickels collection, that will go along with my liberty V nickels collection :) we're all also checking our change, for the rare, W minted quarters :) we hope to find some in our change :) it's a very exciting time, to be a coin collector, and to get into collecting coins :)

Saturday Shopping Adventure!!! :) we were getting set, and ready early to go shopping, as we had a big day planned with the Kentucky derby and our mohegan sun adventure :) we love going to the dollar tree and there were some nice items we wanted to buy  :) we enjoyed a nice car ride over to the shopping center :) my mom, dad, Holly, and i were talking, and seeing lots of beautiful nature sights, birds, and also saw flower trees :) there's lots of pink flower trees over by the shopping center :) we arrived :) my dad parked our minivan :) we walked into the dollar tree, and got some shopping baskets :) we began to browse around, and went over to the cards section :) i bought some happy birthday cards :) i also bought some goodies, and we looked at the dvds, they didn't have any new ones but hopefully soon :) they didn't have any hotwheels, but it's always fun looking :) i bought some treasures, and also browsed at the candles, crafts aisle :) the dollar tree has so many neat items :) on the foods aisle, i bought some nice stir fry marinade, for when we cook rice and vegetables :) it'll be great to try the marinade :) i bought a bag of party snacks, for our derby party this evening, and also bought some more treasures :) my mom, dad, and Holly were finding some great items too :) my mom got some packs of pokemon cards for Taylynn :) she loves to collect them :) they didn't have any twd trading cards but i'm gonna keep checking each week :) we shopped a bit more, and then went to the checkout :) we all checked out together it went really well, and smoothly :) we didn't get any rare coins back in our change, but it's always fun checking to see if we get any rare ones :) after we were all set and checked out, we walked outside, and i felt a great sense of accomplishment :) we rocked it with a sweet, and smooth shopping adventure, and experience :) it went really well :) i'm so happy and excited about the nice items i bought at the dollar tree :) we enjoyed a nice car ride home :)
