Happy Kentucky Derby Day! :) Greetings, from the Mohegan Sun Casino! :)

HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!!! :) THE RUN FOR THE ROSES!!! :) GO HORSES! GO! :) GREETINGS FROM THE MOHEGAN SUN CASINO! :) A super fun day, celebrating the Kentucky derby! :) my mom, dad, Alyssa, Kayla, Taylynn, and i had a great time today, going down to the Mohegan Sun :) Alyssa brought Kayla and Taylynn to the mall :) They went into some shops :) my mom, dad, and i went into the casinos :) They played the slot machines :) the race book was closed until 1:30pm, with the VIP Horse race Party there, so we got a chance to walk way down deep into the casino, to the Convention Center area :) We placed our bets for the derby :) We're so happy, excited, and thrilled, for the big race this evening :) we were walking through the mall area, we met up with Alyssa, Kayla and Taylynn :) i heard someone say, "Hey Chris!" it was one of my best friends from high school, Josue! :) We had a good talk! :)it was awesome to see Josue again! :) my niece Alyssa went to play the slots a bit, she won $11. :) We were walking all around the mall area: ) i made a COOL Mohegan Sun video, and i also took some sweet pictures to share with everyone :) We got some krispy kreme donuts, and iced coffees :) i had some shyness/social anxiety moments by the convention center area, but i did ok, and stayed strong :) it's a beautifully sunny day :) We're all set, and ready to watch the 141st Kentucky Derby this evening :) We'll be cheering on the horses :) i'm very excited to share about our Mohegan Sun adventure :) We hope everyone enjoys the derby! :) our dear friends Gaye (LuvMyTitans) and her family called me from Churchill downs, at the derby! :)
A SPECIAL GREETINGS, FROM THE MOHEGAN SUN, ON the 2015 KENTUCKY DERBY DAY! :) hi angel friends! :) i am so happy and excited! :) for the first time, i made a video inside of the Mohegan Sun!!! :) i was thinking of you all while making this video :) i was being very brave too, because i usually get shy inside there, but i made this video, and in the video, it's a walk through the Mohegan Sun Mall area, the Arena where the Connecticut Sun play, plus, shows some of the restaurant's there, and a HUGE waterfall area! :) i am so happy, and thrilled to share this video :) You all were with us in spirit :) It's Derby day!!! :) We're celebrating!!! :)

Hi angel friends! :) WOW! :) an amazing time, at the Mohegan Sun Casino today! :) We hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a wonderful saturday :) it's derby day! :)the big race is this evening! :) the horses are all set for the run for the roses! :) We love derby day :) Our dear friends Gaye (LuvMyTitans) and her family are at the derby, they just called me from Churchill downs :) sweet!!! :) Each year, my mom, dad, and i enjoy going to the mohegan sun to place our bets, for the Kentucky Derby :) 18 horses are running in the derby this evening :) it's such a historic event, and such an exciting event :) the most exciting 2 minutes in sports :) We love the Kentucky derby :) We're so excited to celebrate this very special day with you all :) it's a beautifully sunny with, with lots of spring sunshine, and it made it up to nearly 70 degrees today :) i'm having a krispy kreme iced coffee, and i'm ready for the derby this evening :)
Derby day is so much fun! :) i've been thinking of you all often today :) awww! :) Angel friends, thank you for celebrating derby day with us :) Lots of great excitement building up all week, for the big derby day :) It's such an exciting event, and is only once a year, so we love to celebrate it to the fullest :) all throughout the morning, we were getting ready to go to the Mohegan Sun casino :) i enjoyed an early morning nature walk, and also enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) my dad woke up early, he, my mom, and i were looking at the derby contenders :) my sister Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over to visit for a little while :) we were all hanging out :) We made our final picks for the derby today, and were all set, and ready to go pick up my niece Alyssa, and headed to the Mohegan Sun. :) it's an incredible place, it's like a whole other world down there :)
MOHEGAN SUN CASINO! :) We picked up Alyssa, and then cruised over to Uncasville, CT :) we got to drive past malerba's farm, the golf course, and peaceful pond :) it's really nice, all of the beautiful spring time nature sights, trees growing new leaves, and blossoming :) We got to see some ducks swimming in the pond :) We were ready for some awesome fun at the mohegan sun, and were so happy that Alyssa, Kayla, and Taylynn were coming with us :) they got lots of places there, other than casino areas, for where kids can go to enjoy being there too, like the mall :) We arrived at the Mohegan sun, and parked our car :) There's 4 main entrances areas of the mohegan sun :) We went into the entrance we usually go into :) They have some broshures there :) i picked up a few of the broshures :)
There's a huge walkwalk, with these awesome designs on the walls :) Mohegan tribal art :) i brought my camera with me, and was taking pictures to share with everyone :)sometimes i get a bit shy about taking pictures inside there, but today i really did great, taking some pictures :) we entered in the main area, that has these huge shandeliers, and lights there, with these beautiful Mohegan tribal artwork, that's on display :) there's a long walk area, where there's this roof area where the sun shines through, it looks amazing! :) i was taking some sweet pictures to share :) we came up upon the area, where there's escalators, that lead us to the main casino area :) there's also a food court area there too :) We took the escalators, and then Alyssa took Kayla and Taylynn to the mall area, and my mom, dad, and i went toward the casino, racebook area :)
It's very dim lighted in many areas of the mohegan sun, which helps me to feel more relaxed, even though there's 1000's of people all around, it feels like it's really chill atmosphere inside there :) we were looking at the slot machines, lots of machines lighting up the casino area :) we walked over to the racebook, it was a little after 12pm, but they had a special VIP Horse race party going in, and weren't going to be opening up until 1:30pm, but told us, we could still place our bets at the convention center area on the other side of the casino, near the hotel :) my mom, dad, and i walked back over to the slots area, my mom and dad played the quarter slots :) i was watching on :) it can take me a little while to feel comfortable to join in, playing, i decided to just watch my mom and dad play the slots. they didn't win, we decided to look more into the casinos areas :) We saw so many new kinds of slot machines, quarter slots, penny slots, 2 cent slots, nickel slots, and dollar slots. We walked all the way around, we were near the poker tables, and blackjack tables. i was doing ok in this area. We decided to walk over to the mall area, to see how Alyssa, Kayla and Taylynn were doing :)
We met up with them in the mall area, and i got my camera, and began to make a video, of our walk through the mall area :) as we were getting closer to the convention center, i heard someone say, "Hey Chris!" :) i looked back, it was my friend Josue who i went to high school with! :) wow! :) it was a big surprise to see Josue! :) he works at the Mohegan sun :) i went over to talk with Josue for a little while :) We asked about how eachother are doing :) i told him i saw our friend Chris last summer when he stopped by for a visit :) it was great getting to see Josue again :) Josue and i gave eachother a fist bump. :) Cool! :) my family and i then walked over to the convention area, we saw Michael Jordan's restaurant, and Bobby Flay's restaurant, and lots more :) i was so proud, of how earlier i made the video to share with everyone :)
my dad went into the convention center to place our bets for the Kentucky derby :) We played lots of bets :) my mom, dad, and i all went 3-ways, to bet on all of the derby horses! :) hehe! :) We'll definitely have one winner, but also, we played some other bets too : )i placed across the board bets on #3, and #13, plus i placed 2 show bets, for #4, and #5 :) my niece Alyssa, went to play the quarter slots, and my mom and i were watching Kayla and Taylynn :) it was more lit in this area, there was a restaurant there, and lots of people walking back and forth, i felt very shy, and anxious in these moments when we were in this area. i got my cell phone and read some texts, and texted some friends. my anxiety level in this area got really severe, but i did ok, but was feeling a bit shy, but i did alright, and kept strong as i could :) my niece Alyssa won $16.75 playing the quarter slots :) cool! :)
my dad met back up with us, and we then walked back over to the main mall area, and we got some treats at krispy kreme donuts :) some donuts, and iced coffees :) it was really nice :) we saw Yankee Candle shop, and lots of other shops too :) There's so many amazing places and sights to see in the Mohegan sun casino :) we had a nice time in there today :) We began to make our way back home :) We drove Alyssa and Taylynn to Alyssa's place :) Taylynn went to her friend's birthday party this afternoon :) We arrived home, and sorted our Kentucky derby tickets :) We got some great tickets, and are hoping to win some nice dollars this evening, with the derby :) it's gonna be so exciting :)
It's a great derby day :) my family and i are doing well :) here on my table, i got my 4 derby tickets, my lucky derby keychain, and also my derby glasses for good luck :) The derby is just after 6pm this evening :) it's gonna be so awesome!!! :) We love to watch the derby :) if a longshot wins the derby, we'll win some big bucks :) woot!!! :) no matter what though, we're all winners, getting to enjoy such an exciting derby day, with family, friends, and the spirit of the Kentucky derby day :) it was so nice, going to the mohegan sun casino :) The Preakness horse race is in 2 weeks :)We may go back to the mohegan sun for that horse race too :) it's the triple crown season :) Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes :) we hope there's a triple crown winner this year :) California Chrome horse came so close to winning the triple crown last year :) We're ready to cheer on the horses this evening :) Everyone who is watching the derby, we hope you enjoy the derby :)GO HORSES GO! :) Woot!!! :) tomorrow, i'd love to do some planting in our garden greenhouse, and we're also going to go shopping at the dollar store and walmart, for some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) Life is very precious :) Each day, truly is a wonderful gift, treasure, and blessing :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and generous :)We deeply appreciate you all, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNNY DERBY DAY HUGS! :) There's many more great times to look forward too sharing, with family, friends, and nature :)
