HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!!! :) We're celebrating an amazing, and awesome derby day!!! :) it's the run for the roses!!! :) Go Horses Go!!! :) Greetings from the Mohegan Sun casino! :) it's our annual derby day celebrations! :) We're so happy, excited, and thrilled! :) the 1st race in the triple crown :) happy spirit soaring saturday!!! :) it's a day of sweet spirited fun, and awesome traditions! :) Celebrating the Kentucky derby, shopping, and spring blossoming all around! :) it's such a beautiful time of the year :) We're loving the spirit, energy, and excitement of the season :) today, my mom, dad, and i enjoyed an awesome time, going to the Mohegan sun casino! :) We placed our bets at the convention center, on the 144th Kentucky Derby! :) The Mohegan sun is awesome ,and has many incredible sights there! :) We had so much fun, walking in there, and placing our bets :) i called Holly, while at the Mohegan Sun :) She was so excited to join in on the excitement :) i placed a cool bet for Holly, on the horse she picked :) We're all excited to watch the derby this evening, 6:46pm post time :) Good luck to all of the horses! :) i took some pictures at the mohegan sun casino to share with everyone :) We love the Kentucky derby, it's one of our favorite days, and traditions of the year :) i got a free derby shirt :) it's awesome! :) We have our derby tickets, and i set up a cool derby display here on my table :) my mom, dad, and i also enjoyed a fun time shopping at the dollar tree today :) i bought some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) i'm so very happy and excited! :) i went to the bank this morning, and withdrawed my earnings :) The weather is beautiful, it's much cooler outside today :) We're enjoying the awesome excitement ,of derby day :) Holly's gonna watch the derby on her computer with us all this evening :) She and i also picked out a cool movie to watch tonight :) We love our fun saturday night, popcorn movie party's :) We're cherishing, and treasure all of the great memories being made, and the enjoying the amazing spirit of the season :) Our plants, bushes, and trees are blossoming :) We're less than 2 hours away, from the Kentucky Derby!!! :) This evening, derby party, and tonight, the movie party is on!! :) woot!! :) Tomorrow's my dad's birthday! :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) Kentucky derby day :) We love the weekend's, and have been looking forward to the big derby day :) my mom, dad, and i have a special tradition :) each year, we go to the mohegan sun casino to place our bets, on the derby :) We love derby time, and the excitement of the day :) there's lots of cool festivities, and traditions :) our dear, and lovely friends Shirley (Squarley), and Bruce live in Kentucky, and mentioned they were placing their bets today too :) Good luck to all of our picks :) this morning ,was rocking!!! :) blossoming into the new day :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all of your wonderfully heart warming comments on our baking friday journal :) We're so happy, and thrilled that everyone enjoyed our adventure, and pictures :) we had lots of fun baking, and cooking yesterday :) the goodies are very popular :) We'll definitely be baking more onion pretzels, and making more rolled up grilled cheese sandwiches :) i enjoyed some nice time here on ds this morning, writing to friends, and also enjoyed a nice nature walk :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends, and also checked our sprouts, and plants :) they're doing really well! :) we have lots of flowers sprouts, and popcorn sprouts :) it's a pure joy, seeing all of the spring nature blossoming :) our trees have leaves, and our snowball bush is growing leaves too :) We love the nature, and the very special blososming of spring season :)

Shopping Adventure, and Kentucky derby day festivities! :) around late morning, my mom, dad, and i were getting ready, to go shopping ,and to the mohegan sun casino :) there were some nice items we wanted to buy at the dollar tree :) we love shopping there :) we were all set, and ready :)We began our super fun adventures! :) We enjoyed a nice car ride over to the shopping center :) my dad dropped us off near the entrance, as he needed to go into rent-a-center place, and it was busy in the parking lot. it's so nice of him to drop my mom and i off near the entrance :) my mom and i walked into the dollar tree, and got a shopping basket :) We began to browse around :) We were finding some nice spring items, i bought 4 packets of flowers seeds, for our garden :) i also bought some happy birthday cards, for my dad and our dear and lovely friends who have birthday's coming up :) i was finding some great gifts, goodies, and treasures :) i looked for hotwheels, they didn't have any, but i'm hoping they have some in stock soon :)

my dad met up with us in the dollar tree :) we were shopping around :) it got very busy, in some areas of the main area of the store ,lots of people were checking out, and they only had 1 checkout open, i kinda got stick amongst the crowd, and got a bit anxious and nervous, but did ok, and i'm so glad, and thankful :) i met back up with my mom and dad :) i was finding some really nice items at the dollar tree :) We finished up shopping, and went to the checkout :) they thankfully opened 2 checkouts, and it went smoothly :) as the checkout process was going, i felt much more relaxed :) i'm very proud of how strong i kept in there, there was a moment where i felt like i may have to go outside to get a breathe of fresh air, but i thankfully was able to stay inside the store, i did really well :) after we checked out, my mom, dad, and i walked outside, i felt a great sense of accomplishment :) we put our bags into our minivan, and got ready to go to the mohegan sun casino :) woot!!! :) it's right past where the peaceful pond is, in uncasville, CT :)

GREETINGS FROM THE MOHEGAN SUN CASINO!!! :) my mom, dad, and i enjoyed a nice car ride to the mohegan sun :) we drove past malerba's farm, golf course, and the peaceful pond :) We saw lots of people shopping at malerba's farm, and saw people golfing :) we didn't see the ducks today, but it's always fun looking for them :) We arrived at the mohegan sun casino, and parked our minivan in the parking garage :) You all were right there with us in spirit, our dear angel friends :) my mom, dad, and i took the elevatar to another level, and then walked into the area by the hotels, and the convention center :) We walked through the casino, and saw lots of restaurant's, including Michael Jordan's restaurant, and many more awesome sights, including native American art, and cool sights inside the mohegan sun :)

Inside the Convention center area, they have a life-sized statue of American Pharaoh Horse :) one of the greatest horses of all time :) We were so excited to see him win the triple crown a few years ago :) When AP was coming down the stretch of the Belmont, and knew he was gonna win, it was electrifying, and moments i'll never forever in all my years of watching horse racing :) my dad went into the convention center area where you place the bets, and my mom and i were outside the door area, in a lobby, where they have seats, and cool sights to see :) it was very busy inside the convention center. it's so nice of my dad to go in there, to place our bets :) i called Holly on the phone, so that she could join in, on the excitement of derby day :) i placed a bet ticket for her :) She's so happy and excited :) my dad was really quick, inside the convention center :) my mom and i thanked my dad for placing the bets for us all :) We bet enough money, to be eligible for a free Kentucky derby t-shirt :) sweet!!! :) it's awesome! :) i got a dark blue Kentucky derby shirt :) it's become a cool tradition, to get a derby shirt each year :)

We then went up the escalator area, and was in the main casino lobby area, where they have artwork, plants, wishing wells, it's incredible in there :) i was talking with Holly on the phone, and sharing about the sights i was seeing :) We walked back toward the area where they have these huge tv screens, promoting events/music stars, that will be coming to the mohegan sun this summer, and next fall season :) We took the elevator back to the parking garage, it looked like it was getting much more busy inside the parking garade. after we were all set, we made our journey home :) my mom and dad bought some iced cold drinks for us all :) i it's very nice, and sweet of them :) i got a blueberry iced coffee :) CHEERS!!! :) it was so nice, shopping, and going to the mohegan sun casino :) i took some cool pictures to share with everyone in my journal :) We're all very excited, for the Kentucky derby this evening :) DERBY TICKETS/BETS :) i have a win/place/show ticket, on #16, i got a show ticket, for Holly, #7 :) i also have an exacta box ticket, featuring 4 horss, #7,14, 11, and 16 :)

We're enjoying a super sweet spirited day!!! :) Derby day!!! :) Celebrating the 144th running of the Kentucky derby! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) We love this time of the year, and the special traditions of spring season :) we're all set, and ready to watch the Kentucky derby this evening :) post time is around 6:45pm :) We're going to watch the race, and tonight, Holly and i are going to watch a movie :) we picked out a new movie to watch :) We love our fun, saturday night popcorn movie party :) Holly and i are gonna be on the phone, during the derby :) She's gonna pull up the derby coverage on youtube :) it's gonna be great! :) it was so nice, going shopping and to the mohegan sun casino today :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) everyone who is watching the derby, we hope everyone enjoys the big race :) Tomorrow's my dad's birthday :) We're going to give him some nice cards, gifts, and money :) We look forward to celebrating with everyone :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for celebrating these special times with us, and for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and very caring :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM HAPPY SUNNY FRIENDSHIP HUGS :) There's many more awesome times to look forward too, with family, friends, nature, and the awesome spirit of the season :)

my Kentucky Derby table, here on my table :) i decorated it, for the special derby day :) i got my derby glasses, pin, and my tickets :) It's derby day!!! :) i bought a ticket for Holly :) She picked out a horse, by it's name :) i put a $2 bet on the horse for her, and if the ticket is a winner, will cash it in for Holly :) She's so thrilled i got a ticket for her :) We wanted her to feel like she's a part of the derby day celebrations :)

Inside the Mohegan Sun :) it's truly incredible, all of the amazing native American artwork :) We love going to the mohegan sun casino :) it's huge down there :) We love to see all of the sights :) there's food court, restaurants, mall, and lots more :) i'm so excited to share the pictures i took inside the Mohegan Sun :)
