Happy Halloween Weekend!! :)

Hey all. :)
I have felt fantastic since last night-when I went with a group to feed the homeless some dinner, and met some fabulous (mostly Christian, I think) ladies. :) I got the chance to talk with a wonderful gal, the hostess, who drove me home...and she is sweet lady who loves the Lord with all her heart! It was very fun, and extremely rewarding to see their gratitude towards us. I felt so blessed...I am so glad I went!!! The best part is, we'll probably do it once a month!
After we were done, us four women went to Starbucks and talked for quite a while. It was so great, some much needed social time. I told them that I had stumbled across a web site for International House of Prayer NW, about two hours away from me. Please pray for me, to know what kind of ministry opportunity to take next Summer. I want to do something closer to home than the Panama trip our church ahs got planned, because of my bp and ts needs, and I have a big heart for urban outreach. For less money than a week and a half of missions overseas, I could serve for months in my own backyard, and that is exciting to me!! :)))) However, I am still not positive about it, so I need the Lord to speak to me about whether or not this is what I should be doing.
Class is going great....dispite having somewhat of a love/hate relationship with it, I feel like I am really gaining the concept of thinking my opinions through, and figuring out what I believe, and why. Hey, even Glenn Beck says that, right? ;) I won't be mind controlled by her tree hugging ways any time soon...not that I am out to kill them or anything :) nothing wrong with having an open mind. I got caught up on waht my assignment will be for next week, too-so I finally feel like I'm back in the swing of things.
I am going to be writing my next paper about the pros and cons of using sites like Facebook, Nanowrimo, Poets and Writers, Helium, and Blogspot to get one's writing career going. I can't wait to see what I find!! No progress on the chapbook yet, but I'm going to rent a laptop to help. I need a real kick in the butt to get me going for that one....lol.
My Dad and I text eachother a little lately, and I think it's helped us to get closer. I can't wait to celebrate his birthday with our family tommorow. There are always so many wonderful laughs, it's a great time. :) (good food too, mwahaha!) And Halloween night, will be lots of fun-movie night for my Grandma and I.
My MRI, and also my Dr. checkup on my thyroid is covered with my disability, so I am so thankful for that. All in all, I good report on everything. Thank you for being so sweet and good to me, guys. Love ya! God bless you, and have a wonderful and very fun Halloween.
