Happy fourth to you Kim! I’ll be alone as we’re all busy tomorrow. Work and such. Honestly I don’t feel so patriotic with our current president. I hope that changes because independence is dear to me. I think of our past leaders who lead this country....... sigh.
We have a bumper crop of fireflies and that’s going to be the fireworks tomorrow night.
finally awakenow, I can feel your frustration. I watch the American news and it boggles the mind. Be safe, healthy and strong. Canada, especially Ontario and Quebec are still having a hard time with this virus. Hugs

Independence means a lot to me too. I feel no less patriotic though despite our leadership. Crappy presidents and decent presidents have come and gone in our country and that won’t change. Freedom is about all of it, the good, the sublime, the bad, the ugly. The world doesn’t need to wring its hands for us. We will be ok!
