To our city families, Fresh Air volunteer host families, and supporters, Happy Father's Day from The Fresh Air Fund!
the link on this doesn't work, but i really like this charity. i get their stuff in the mail and was stunned what its like for kids in inner cities. boy do they NEED summer camp. it should be automatic, sign up at school and choose a camp. why don't we have that?
still jl on the brain and remembering all kinds of things that normally i wouldn't. death does that. every time i turn around it seems like there is another one and i realize that isn't going to stop, its part II of living. very difficult, but not as difficult as our own bodies becoming ill and all that. i was listening to k railing about the boys and i was thinking, WHERE do you get the energy? i definitely don't have that. that's great, but it shows you that age is a number. also kv is back in the hospital AGAIN, he's 33. very sad.
rained this morning. had left over cake and now they have cakes for best dad. i don't remember them having that a long time ago, did they? got very little done. shopped. found two shirts on sale cheap a tommy and a liz claibourne...i was actually shopping for a briefcase and a makeup bag. lol.

Finding a good sale is a great feeling. We live in a big city (Philadelphia). At one time it was a great place to live. Now its just sad. A lot of good people still but we are out numbered any more.
The Fresh Air Fund and organizations like it are SO necessary for our kids!! I\'m a supporter too!
