HAPPY EASTER
Hello,
i was off today and under the weather (nasty head cold) but noone is around. I am thinking everyone is busying themselves getting ready for the weekend and the holiday.
So i just want to take a minute now to wish all a very Happy Easter and my hope that you may all spend the day with loved ones or special friends. For those of you that may be spending the holiday alone or with very difficult situations, may it help you to know that I ( and others) will be thinking of you too.
Here's hoping that this may be a fresh start for all of us.
HAPPY EASTER

Same to you Kim. I have been busy with my BIL and sister. He is at the nursing home, with her, now too. I have been busy with them for over a week. I took him to the ER a week ago last Friday and he was in the hosp. for a week. My wife is have hip replacement Tues. morning so, we have been doing Pre-op stuff, meeting with Dr. and anesthieologist , etc.
Hope you feel better, never good not feeling well especially on a Holiday weekend. Happy Easter....
Here is a big HUG for all of us who are more or less alone! (((((((HUG))))))))
Get well soon. Hugs.
Happy Easter to all. I like the fresh start wish. This winter seemed overly long and dreary. Hope we have a real spring to make up for it. Not that pseudo-spring when it just slips into summer with little in between. Feel better ❤️ PS I remember Easter much differently when I was a kid. Flowers and a warm sunny walk after church. Even the seasons are rushing holidays now.
Happy Easter to you my friend! This is the start of something new and BETTER for you :)
Thank you all for the good wishes.
@finallyawakenow... you have reminded me of Easters long ago as well.... When I was little always having a new frilly dress , shiny new shoes and a new hat (no bonnets, more a straw thing decorated with colorful ribbons and flowers) to sport as I went with grandparents to church. Having Easter dinner with family at other grandparents home (right next door to us) Then out in the sunshine in an endless back yard looking for hidden eggs and our baskets anywhere from in small tufts of onion grass to being tucked in the daffodils hyacinths, or in any other budding blooming greenery.
Even though I never had any kids of my own, I have always had a ball hiding eggs and baskets whether it was for the neighbor kids or my nephew and now his little ones. And while I do hide some easy for the very little ones, I do take pride in hiding some up higher and all over...more of a challenge and more fun. (I do believe I am like a big kid . I never really got to just be a kid and have fun..... or to be able to open up and communicate. Now I am making up for lost time in all aspects! lol)
Today IS Easter Sunday. I am still a bit under the weather, but was awakened by the smell of breakfast cooking (still have a bit of smell left) Much to my surprise, stbx did bring me a cheese omelet and toast. i did have to thank him for such a very nice surprise. A very good start to new beginnings and both our new lives.
Happy Easter queen. So glad you were able to start off on a positive note!! Feel better, hope the cold eases up so it doesn’t dampen your spirits too much. L. J
Thanks. Enjoy your day and time with family
Happy Easter to you too. Hope that this is the start of something new and great for you.
@cottontail.... Thank you. I do believe it will be. It may be a challenge, but I am ready to face that rather than stagnate as I was in fear.
My wish is that you and everyone else on here would also come to find what will make them happy again as well..
