Happy Cool Thursday! :) preparing for tropical storm. Garden updates :) Ready to bake tomorrow :)

Happy Cool Thursday! :) We're enjoying a nice relaxing, and peaceful day :) it's been a great stretch of days, as the month of July has been blossoming :) We've been enjoying the gardening season, so very much, and are so happy and excited to see our plants flourishing with the blossoming summer season :) Today, Holly and i enjoyed some nature walks, checking in on our plants :) They're doing very well :) We recieved more rainfall here last evening, and night :) our plants are replenished, and super mega growing :) it's been a big growing week for the plants :) We're so thrilled to see fresh garden goodies growing :) we're looking forward to picking some more snap peas, and very soon picking our first zuchinni and yellow squash of the season :) We did some yard work today, in preparations for the upcoming stormy weather. We have a tropical storm warning here, as tropical storm elsa is tracking up the east coast, and is expected to impact us here in CT. Wishing everyone safety. We organized our yard today, secured our BBQ cookout area, tables, umbrellas, and also secured our plants, and garden. We're hoping the storm passes by quickly, and that the trees will be ok. i'll be keeping everyone updated. The stormy weather is forecasted here,for tomorrow. We're gonna be keeping an eye on our trees, and also our taller sunflowers, to make sure they're ok. the heaviest/windest times will begin in the early morning. We still have a super fun baking friday adventure planned for friday afternoon, and we are also stocked up on all of the essential items, just incase of power outages. We'll be keeping safe indoors. We've been hanging out today, doing some organizing, we've had some sports radio and tv shows on too :) Holly and i are going to watch some cool youtube videos tonight :) i've been organizing my coins , adding my new coins to my album :) Thank you angel friends, for sharing in the season with us :) There's so much more to look forward too :) Enjoying a nice peaceful day, with family, friends, garden tending, nature walks, and the awesome spirit of summer season :) Tomorrow's baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's almost time to bake! bake! bake! :)

Garden Greetings, and Preparing for the upcoming storm. Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, in good health, and enjoying a nice day :) We recieved some more rainfall last evening, with another thunderstorm in our area. there were these wild clouds rolling into our area, and it looked like the clouds were tumbling like back/forward flips, it was wild sight to see. We did have some rain, thunder, and lightning. it's been a wild week of weather, and continues to get more wild. We have a Tropical Storm warning here in our area, New London County here in our state. it went from a watch, to a warning overnight. tropical storm elsa. we hope and pray, that everyone being impacted by the storm, is ok ,and safe, and we hope everyone in the path of the storm will be ok and safe. The storm is forecasted to impact us here, beginning early friday morning, about 5am, with heavy rain, and winds up to 60mph, and up to 4 inches of rain is possible. We've been taking precautions today, securing our yard, garden, and home, plus charging up batteries, and we're stocked up well, just incase of power outages. :) We have some nice lanterns. we put our small planters in our greenhouse today, to protect them from the heavy rain. We'll be keeping a close eye on our trees, and also our plants from window/door view. we worry about the trees, as they have leaves on them, and are vulnerable to the winds. it's rare for these storms to make it up here, especially in early July. We'll be keeping safe indoors, indoors, and will ride out the storm tomorrow. We still have a super fun baking friday adventure planned for tomorrow. It's been a great stretch of days this week, even with the weather a bit severe at times, we've been making the most of each day, and our garden and nature time when the weather's been nice :) the summer season and gardening season is in full swing :) This morning, we had a nice new day, rising and shining :) i was up early, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, we heard some bluejays outside here :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) Will be keeping a close eye on this area of our yard tomorrow, as we have lots of trees out there, and the wind flows in that direction from the ocean. We're very close to the Atlantic ocean, the winds from these tropical storms/hurricanes flow from that direction. i walked over to our garden areas, to check in on our plants :)

Our plants are doing very well, and are replenished from the nice rain we recieved :) we have lots of string beans plants growing, snap peas, peppers, zuchinni, and yellow squash, carrots :) The plants are growing wild :) Our new planters, which have banana peppers plants we grew from seed, are the planters we put in our greenhouse, as we want to make sure the plants are ok, from the heavy rain. the rain can make the soil come out of the planter, exposing the roots of the plants. we wanted to make sure the plants were ok and safe in our greenhouse :) Our grapes, fruit trees, and raspberry bushes are doing well :) We've been enjoying the raspberries, and also so excited to be picking some snap peas : )very soon, we'll be picking our first zuchinni and yellow squash of the season :) We also have some banana peppers we'll be picking, to make our own pickled banana peppers :) Holly and i want to try a couple recipes, with onion, and garlic, pickled banana peppers :) it's gonna be awesome :)banana peppers are one of our favorite foods, we put them on sandwiches, and in salads :)

The sunflowers, and flowers are doing well :) We're so happy and excited to see them growing and growing :) We'll keep a close eye on our sunflowers with the upcoming stormy weather. The sunflowers that are tallest are in our large garden area, next to the garden fence, and will have some protection from our granny smith apple tree that is next to this garden area :) our gourds, and pumpkins plants, popcorn plants, cucumber plants, along with all of our tomato plants are doing very well :) We look forward to making some fresh homemade salsa, and also using some tomato slices to make cheese and tomato pizza later on this summer :) The summer gardening season is so nice, and super spirited with all of the great joys of the season :) We love our plants, and garden and are enjoying the season very much, and looking forward to lots more super fun adventures :) We have lots of petunia's, marigolds, and daisies blossoming, and very soon more morning glory flowers, along with zinnia's, and sunflowers will be blossoming :) We have some sunflowers that have petals beginning to show, which is awesome to see :) Sunflower blossoming party is on!! :) We'll be ready to tend our plants, and garden, after the storm tomorrow. We've been hanging out today, we enjoyed a phone call with a friend, and also put some sports radio on, and also checking out our online orders :) i'm very happy and excited my new coins have been arriving, and more arriving very soon :) We put some tv shows on, and i've also been organizing my coins :) i love adding my new coins to my collector's books :) my dad sold me his change/coins, i'm having fun going through the coins, and finding some new ones to add to my collection :) it's so much fun collecting :) Holly and i are picking out some movies, for our popcorn movies party day on saturday :) We're also super pumped up and excited to be watching some classic episodes of TWD, leading up to the new season beginning in August :)

We're enjoying a nice relaxing, and peaceful day :) my family,Holly, and i are doing well, healthy,and in great spirits :) it was so ncie, enjoying a phone call today, and we're so glad we got our yard, home, and garden ready, in preparations for the windy/stormy weather tomorrow with the tropical storm impacting New England. We're hoping everyone will be ok, and that power will remain on. Wishing everyone safety and comfort, that's being impacted by the storm, and that's in the path of the storm. We're so thankful we got our yard, garden, and home ready, for the storm tomorrow. Greetings from our garden! :)Hi angel friends! :) we're so proud of our plants, and garden :) We secured our garden and yard today, in preparations for the tropical storm tomorrow. We're ready to tend our plants if they need it, after the storm. We're so happy our plants are doing well, and are very healthy :) We're looking forward to lots more adventures as the summer season goes on :) Holly and i checked in on our plants this afternoon, and i took some new pictures :) We have our first Aster flower blossom of the season :) We'll be picking some fresh garden goodies soon, including zuchinni and yellow squash :) Happy gardening smiles :)
