Happy Cool Monday! :) Beginning new week, with a good balanced pace :) Organizing our home :)

Happy Cool Monday! :) We're enjoying a great day, blossoming into the new week and first full week of the new year, enjoying some of our favorite simple joys and finding a good paced balanced :) We enjoyed the weekend very much, ringing in the new year, watching movies, football, and are very heart happy and excited to share in many more great times as the week blossoms :) We're doing some organizing, and decorating to begin the new year :) We love seeing our home and decorative displays shining for the new year :) we're putting away the rest of our holiday decorations,and gonna do more decorating as the week goes on :) i'm very hapy and excited to put together my new year, 2023 writing area and looking forward to sharing it with everyone :) We've been hanging out today, enjoying some sports radio :) i'm looking forward to writing cards to mail on super wednesday :) Holly and i are planning more nature walks :) We love nature, and are very excited to enjoy more nature walks this new year :) i have some deep thoughts to share about my feelings about yesterday's Commanders game and the team. i'm browsing some collectibles on ebay too, i look forward to adding to my collections as the year goes on :) with the upcoming football playoffs, i love to add to my football collection :) next weekend's gonna be a double football weekend with saturday and sunday games :) it's gonna be awesome! :) There's so much more to look forward too :) Thank you angel friends, for brightening our days and for the special joy you all bring us :) Enjoying a great day, with family, friends,nature, sports radio, and the awesome spirit of the blossoming new year :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We look forward to enjoying some treats :) Blossoming into the new week, focused on a good paced week and taking in sweet moments :)

Writings, Organizing, and beginning a nice paced week :) hot tea cheers! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family,Holly,and i hope everyone is doing well,healthy,and enjoying a peaceful day :) We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend ,ringing in the new year :) We enjoyed the weekend with everyone,and looking forward to sharing in lots more special times as the new year settles in,and the month of january :) Holly and i are looking forward to more nature walks :) We're also organizing our living room, home, getting ready for some more decorating for the new year, and putting together my new year 2023 writing area :) i'm very heart happy and excited to share it with everyone :) it's an awesome decorating project,and brings us all lots of great joy throughout the year :) i'm looking forward to some big writing weeks, and mailing cards, letters, and nots :) January is a big writing month for me :) i've been trying to keep up with the pace of some days lately, with busy holiday's, and finding a good balance with my days :) i've felt exhausted, and run down during the late days of last week with low energy. i want to have a good balanced,and paced week :) i've got some writings to share today, it'll be good for me to write it out, and also looking forward to our first sweet treats tuesday of the new year tomorrow :)

Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all of your heart warming comments,and for brightening our days :) it's been a big stretch of days,and we're very happy, thankful,and blessed to have you all there for us :) it helps very much, and is very comforting and uplifting :) during the holiday's, times seemed to be flying by very fast, and began to feel a bit rushed. we all tried our best to keep up with the pace of the days, and i always want to make sure i take some good writing time :) some days were much busier than others. The holiday's seemed to come very fast, and went by very fast too. i kinda wish the times went slower, and even mentioned to Holly and some friends, around christmas Eve ,i said,"i wish we all could go back about 10 to 12 days,and just sit back and relax, looking at lights, decorations,and having a slow countdown to Christmas :) i know there's many more great tims to share in, i just felt the holiday's came and went very fast,and i was trying to find as much time as i could, to write :) i'm hoping this month, is much slower month :) Lots of sports radio, movies, shows ,nature, and sports, is gonna be great and many very special times to share in with family and friends :) my mom's and dad's upcoming anniversary, and upcoming anniversary of Holly living here with us :) It's gonna be awesome, and special sharing in :) i think i need to do some more writings also, about my inner feelings and thoughts, i have some sharings i'd like to write about, that i think will be good for me to write about in my journal today :)

This morning, we had a nice new day, rising and shining :) we got good sleep last night, i slept in about an extra 30 minutes :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) the bluejays have been outside, i love hearing the bluejays, it's like they're calling me to let me know, they'd like some peanuts :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) it's been a bit cloudy at times in the mornings lately, but i'm hoping for some of those mornings when it's very bright out there, with sunshine :) the bright sunshine helps me be able to take those nice spirit soaring nature moments pictures :) Holly and i have some nice goals this new year, one of our favorite is to enjoy more nature walks :) We love nature, and the very special joy it brings :) it's gonna be so nice ,enjoying mor and more nature walks, adventures, and seeing lots of those spirit soaring nature sights :) Holly's painting her nice wooden birds crafts i got for her :) she loves to paint, she's painting a variety of birds :) i look forward to taking a picture of it, when she's finished the painting :) Happy nature smiles :)

It was a sweet peaceful early morning :)we enjoyed our breakfast, and having some hot tea with peppermint candy, water, and iced coffee :) Cheers! :) We put the sports radio on :) i've got some deep football thoughts to share, especially after yesterday's Commanders game, i just gotta write it out :) we love the sports radio, it's a great part of our days :) Holly and i have been organizing our livng room, and home a bit here and there :) pacing ourselves with it, and getting ready for some more decorating :) i want to take some really good time, to decorate my writing area, as it's a very special project and i love to share it with everyone :) it's gonna be so nice, decorating it, and getting to share with everyone throughout the year :) my dad's been doing some uber/lyft driving,and my mom's been doing some organizing around the house too :)

Football talk/thoughts :) i gotta share,and write this out. i know it's just a sport/game, and there's always next season, it's just being a fan sometimes can be upsetting/frustrating and disappointing. it's a vent about yesterday and this season for the Commanders. yesterday i wrote about a coach's decision, but with my thoughts settling, i'm able to really write it out now :) it was a big football weekend, and really was some wild outcomes of the games. it was a very interesting sports news week, with the news that the Washington Commanders coach, Ron Rivera was deciding to bench their starting QB, Taylor Heineke. it really upset, stunned,and baffled us fans. it didn't make sense,and doesn't make sense,and showed that it didn't make sense in yesterday's game. earlier this season, the Commanders were 1-4 with Carson Wentz, who in the off-season they traded a #3 draft pick, and paid him $27 million to be our QB. he began the season 1-4 as a starter. he was injured, and in came, Taylor Heineke, who is a fan favorite, who started almost all of the games last year, including the epic playoff game vs the eventual superbowl champions, Bucs and is paid $4 million per season. When Heineke came in for Wentz, the team went, from 1-4, to all of a sudden 7-5-1 and were up to the #6 spot in the playoffs standings.

the team was rejuventated,had a tie game vs the Giants, a couple weeks later, the referees cost us the game, with some bad officiating calls, which the NFL called the Commanders and apologized to them, for the poorly missed calls. a couple weeks ago, the Commanders were playing the 49ers, great team, one of the best defenses in the NFL, Heineke had 2 touchdowns, 1 inteception, 13 completions out of 18 attemps,and a QB rating of 114. he was benched in the 4th quarter for Wentz, due to our defense unable to stop the 49ers (they're a great team). then, Coach Rivera decides, to bring in Wentz for yesterday's game, to start a home game vs the Browns, who were 6-9, out of the playoffs running,and Wentz threw, 3 costly interceptions, and also only 133 yard, a QB rating of 2.8. wow! and Heineke's rating was 114, vs a championship quality team in the 49ers. this loss, to the Browns, caused by the Coach, and poor decision to start Wentz, is unnaceptable. both Holly and i are very disappointed in the coaching decision, and the loss that cost us a chance at the playoffs. it's just very disheartening. we're all for QB changes if it's absolutely necessary, but Heineke deserved to be the starter yesterday, he earned it, and the coach took that chance from him, the whole team,and fan base.

earlier in the season Heineke helped the Commanders defeat one of the best teams in football, the Eagles in November who were undefeated at the time, and other wins. games that Wentz most likely would have lost. Heineke put us in position, to win, got us to where we were, and the coach makes this poor decision to bench him, it's just very upsetting. after the game, Rivera said, when asked if he was gonna switch QB's again, he said, he doesn't know, and everything will be evaluated. even if Heineke is put back in now, it's too late, and we've been eliminated from playoffs contention. it's just very upsetting,being a fan of them right now, with these decisions, and the team dejected by costly decisions. it's just been a mess. they have been a mess for a while, including not getting the contract situation correctly with Kirk Cousins back in 2017,and he is now been the QB of the Vikings, the Vikings are 12-4,, and #3 in the NFC. if only they had maybe signed Kirk, we'd be where the Vikings are. The $27 million they are paying Wentz, is the same amount Kirk Cousins hoped for, and we didn't give him the contract, but gave that money to Wentz 5 years later? it doesn't make sense.

yesterday's Commanders game, was like the Replacements movie, where Martel character came back, and the team in the movie, benched their QB Falco, who got them far, and Martel didn't play well, it was literally like that. sames script. it stings, as a fan. i've been a fan of this team for 32 years, through numerous names changes lately,and multiple QB's.lots of us Commanders fan envy, teams like the Patriots and Packers, those teams, have had only a couple QB's in span of 30 years, Packers had Favre and currently Rodgers, since 1991, to now, only 2 QB's, and the Patriots had Brady for 20 years. Chiefs have Mahomes, and other teams are set at QB. it's the most important position on any football team, QB position. i just wish, the commanders can find their guy, if they don't believe in Heineke like us fans do believe in him, they should let him go, to another team who won't bench him. he's a warrior, and really rough competitor, he deserves better. i think all, or most of us Commanders fans would have rather lost the game with Heineke in the game,rather than Wentz in the game, as at least we would have been rolling in the game with the QB who got us this far. 

it was an honor getting to cheer him (Heineke) on, in his many starts for us as QB, since 2020. he was like our "Rudy", famous football story of Notre Dame. that play when he ran for the TD vs the Bucs in the 2020 playoffs, it was epic, and one of those fan moments you remember. it's just very stunning, how Rivera would bench the QB, who helped lead the Commanders to where they were. i was so upset after the game yesterday, i unfollowed the Commanders on twitter, i just am not into them right now, and really disappointed. i just didn't and don't want to see any articles, or videos of interviews with their coaches, explaining about the Wentz decision. lots of fans, we all would like whole new coaching staff, maybe new QB, or if they decide Heineke is the guy going forward, we just want stability as a fan base. it's something we haven't had, since Kirk Cousins was our QB, from 2012 to 2017. i'm always a fan ,forever, and Holly is too, it's just as fans, we need an emotional break from them,their losses, their upsetting coaching decisions, and their lack of stability. the draft is in April, and we're hoping it's a big draft for them, to make team changes that are good, and helpful. We're gonna watch football next week, and will only be checking the Commanders score, but that's it. it's just demoralizing, how they handled yesterday's decision, gameplan, completely unprepared, and the coach Rivera even was asked a question after the game, where he didn't seem to know, that the Commanders could be eliminated from playoffs contention. he's had 12 seasons of being a coach in the NFL, and only has 3 winning seasons out of 12. lots of us, Commanders fans want to win, the Commanders warpath forums, we're tired of losing, and tired of getting our hopes up. it's just a mess,all of it,and we're gonna put our energy into watching pure football, that is organized,and the upcoming playoffs :) i'm so glad to write here, sharing feelings. we're passionate fans :) Hoping the Commanders next season is much better, more fun to watch, and more successful :) the playoffs means a lot to us fans, and we were hopeful this was the season. We got hope for next season, and will be fans forever :)

We're enjoying a peaceful day, blossoming into the new week :) my family, Holly,and i are doing well, healthy, and in good spirits :) it's felt good writing today, and getting some feelings out. i'm proud of writing,and looking forward to lots more writing as the week goes on:)i think it'll be good, and healthy taking an emotional break from the Commanders news stories/articles,and interviews until at least April, NFL Draft time :) We enjoyed a nice lunch,and also continuing to organize :) Holly and i are gonna watch an episode of TWD, season 10 tonight :) our new TWD dvd set is great :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We look forward to enjoying some treats here at home, writing, and getting ready for our first super wednesday mailing day of the season :)
