HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAD, AND HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!!! :) OH MY!!! :) It's the RUN FOR THE ROSES!!! :) We're enjoying a SUPER MEGA SWEET AWESOME DAY!!! :) it's a day of celebrations, celebrating my dad's birthday and Kentucky derby day!!! :) Greetings, from the Mohegan Sun Casino, Convention center!!! :) we having a big party today!!! :) my mom, dad, and i had an awesome time going to the Mohegan Sun Casino! :) it's a whole world down there at the mohegan sun! :) it's derby day!!! :) my mom, dad, and i walked through the casino, and to the convention center! :) we saw lots of amazing sights! :) they have an American Pharaoh horse statue!!! :) oh wow!!! :) i took pictures of it, and lots and lots of other pictures too to share with everyone! :) We placed our bets, for the 143rd running of the Kentucky derby at Churchill Downs! :) GO HORSES GO!!! :) we're ready to cheer them on!!!! :) good luck to all of the horses in the derby! :) we hope everyone has a safe race :) history will be made, when a horse wins the derby this evening! :) it's so classic!!! :) we love it!!! :) We got free tickets at the convention center, to get 3 free t-shirts!!! :) oh yeah!!! :) we got blue, white, and gray, featuring the derby logo! :) it was rocking at the casino! :) we went to krispy kreme donuts to get some iced cold drinks :) We walked around for a while :) We're so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) The derby is this evening! :) Thank you angel friends, for your wonderful happy birthday wishes for my dad! :) he's having a great birthday! :) my brother's came over to visit this morning, and we had family over to visit this afternoon :) this day is rocking and sweet rolling! :) Everyone who is watching the derby, we hope everyone enjoys it, and good luck to everyone's horses :) the derby is so exciting! :) i got lots of pictures to share! :) it was awesome being in the casino today :) derby day traditions, and celebrating a sweet day, my dad's birthday! :) We're ready for the big derby this evening! :) HERE WE GO!!! :) GO HORSES!!! :)

This morning, we all wished my dad a happy birthday, and i shared your sweet happy birthday wishes with him :) we were all gathering around in our living room :) my brother Bobby, Stacy, Ryan, and my brother Charlie came over to visit this morning :) we were all hanging out, wishing my dad a happy birthday, and talking about the Kentucky derby :) my brother's love to place bets on the derby too :) we gave my dad some nice birthday cards, money, gift cards, and my dad got a cool owl garden decorative from my brother Bobby and family :) it was such a spirited, and exciting morning too, as we were very happy to have family over to visit, and my dad took a look at the Kentucky derby website to make his picks for the derby :) i gave my dad a happy birthday card and $20 to spend on anything he wants to buy :) it was a rocking morning, and just the beginning, of this sweet awesome day! :)

Greetings, from the Mohegan Sun Casino! :) my mom, dad, and i got ready to go to the casino around late morning :) We were all set, i wore my new shoes today :) We had our derby picks, and bets set and began to make our journey to the Mohegan Sun casino :) it's right down the road from us in Uncasville, Connecticut :)we drove past the malerba's farm, golf course, and peaceful pond :) it was so nice, getting a chance to see if the ducks were swimming in the pond, i didn't see the ducks, but maybe they took a trip to Kentucky to watch the derby today! :) hehe! :) smiles :)

We arrived at the mohegan sun, and found a parking spot in the casino parking garage :) it's huge down there, and looked very busy, for the big derby day. i felt confident, and relaxed, and excited too, for the big day!!! :) it's so neat, how it's my dad's birthday and Kentucky derby day in the same day! :) woot!!! :) We went on an elevator to go to one of the areas of the casino, and they got new paths in the casino there, and we took one of the new paths :) we were seeing lots of Mohegan tribe art, lights, amazing displays all around :) we were near the new hotel they recently built :) it's right next to the other hotel they have there :) we were walking together, into one of the main areas of the casino :) i think we were near the casino of the sky area :) they have the huge purple lights decoration, waterfalls area, and lots of shops, restaurants, and casinos :)

i had my camera with me, and took lots of pictures! :) i was thinking of you all, our dear angel friends :) you all were right there with us in spirit :) We walked over to the convention center :) it's a huge area, very busy inside the main betting area. my dad went into there, and my mom and i sat over in the convention center area, where it was very peaceful :) they have a HUGE American Pharaoh horse statue! :) he's the triple crown champion in 2015 :) We all remember that amazing triple crown season when AP won the triple crown :) historic and classic! :) lots of people were walking around, i took some more pictures inside the convention center :) my dad placed our bets, and met back up with us :)

my dad recieved 3 tickets, for 3 free Kentucky Derby t-shirts!!! :) WOOT!! yeah!!! :) it's an awesome promotion they have :) we walked over to the area and cashed in our tickets for 3 derby t-shirts :) blue, white, and gray :) awesome!!! :) my mom, dad, and i walked back into the casino, and noticed they have Beetlejuice themed slots machines, and Wizard of Oz themed slots machines! wow!!! :) it was rocking inside the casino!:) i was doing very well. we did get a bit lost inside the casino area, we took a route back through a portion of the parking garage, we wanted to go to a krispy kreme donuts shop. We finally found the krispy kreme, but noticed they don't give away free dozen donuts anymore on people's birthday's, but we still got some iced cold drinks :)

my mom, dad, and i then began to make our journey back to our parking garage area :) We saw lots more sights, including the Wolf Den where they have live musical performances, plus the casino areas :) it was really nice inside the mohegan sun :) we were down there for about an hour and a half :) it was fun, and we're so happy and excited! :) we got our derby bets, and are all set, and ready to cheer on the horses! :) For the Kentucky derby, my mom, dad, brother's Bobby and Charlie bet on some horses :) Holly and i picked out some horses too :) i played horses #10, 6, 4, 14, 17, 5 :) i played wins, places, shows, exacta's, trifecta's :) i placed a variety of bets :) a total of $29 i bet on the tickets :) if we win, we'll be going back to the mohegan sun tomorrow to cash in our tickets :) whether we win or lose, it's always such a fun time, celebrating the derby :) we love it!!! :)
