Happy birthday, Ed.
Happy birthday in Heaven, Ed! I thought a lot about past birthdays today and how as you grew your birthdays and how you celebrated were different as you got older. I always loved your little smirk as I insisted every year on baking you a cake and giving you some kind of party. Even though you would say don't go to any trouble "its just a birthday" you would still smirk and smile shyly and enjoyed it just the same.
Well your birthdays are so different now and not in the way I envisioned them at all. It was never "just a birthday" to me and now I see those years of celebrations that we were gifted with as priceless.
Enjoy your birthday and the sweet songs of the angels....
I love you forever and ever. That will never change. Thank you for being my son and allowing me the honor of being your mom. I love you. xoxo mom
Thank you God for giving me this beautiful child that grew into a good and kind person...I ask that you give me the strength one day at a time to live my life in an honorable way despite the pain of this profound loss. In Jesus name. Amen.

Love you Linda...
Love to Eddie!
I thought about you both a lot yesterday dear Linda. These are words spoken from a mother\'s heart to her son.
Hoping today, the day after, is a gentle one of precious memories of birthdays past and I can almost see his smirk... what a wonderful son, your Ed IS.
Much love dear Linda and how did the spice cake turn out? Bet it was delicious as always. :)

I missed it......so sorry...happy birthday Ed!!!!!
It must be a bittersweet moment...celebrating the birth of your son when he is no longer with you. I hope this is a happy day for you...filled with fond memories of Eddie.
My dad was also born in September, on the fourth. He died at age 100 on the seventh. It was very hard for me to pick up with my life after I lost him, we had watched each other\'s back for 29 years...two old guys against the world.
I too missed Ed\'s birthday. I hope our children are all celebrating.
I sure hear you - birthdays will never be the same. How could we envision our children\'s birthdays without them?
Tomorrow is my loving husband\'s birthday. It is hard to celebrate these days.
Take care and have a peaceful, gentle week.
Love, Marlene
Birthday wishes for Ed. And loving thoughts to you Linda as you think of the past birthdays. Hugs and sweet memories... Debbie/Christopher\'s mom
I know what you mean, by remembering his little smirk, lol. I hope we never forget all of the little things that made our boys so special. How did his celebration with the spice cake go?? I am thinking of you and your sweet boy tonight :)
Happy Birthday ED !!! Send your mom a sign that you are still always around her. She loves you sooo much!!
