Happy 59th Anniversary to my mom and dad, and happy 5th anniversary of Holly living here with us in CT! :) Happy sweet treats tuesday! :) We're enjoying a very special, super sweet, and wonderful day! :) We're very happy and excited! :) We're celebrating my mom's and dad's anniversary, and the 5th anniversary of Holly living with us :) You all are with us in spirit :) It's a very special day with lots of great memories being made :) Holly and i gave my mom and dad, a card, and money :) We're enjoying some foods, snacks, drinks, and having some cake :) We love sharing in and celebrating these very special times with you all, our dear angel friends :) We're sharing lots of smiles :) We treasure all of the great memories being made :) We enjoyed a nice lunch ,and had cake :) It snowed here! :) it's very neat, and super cool, how it's snowing :) my mom and dad have shared stories over the years, about how it snowed on their wedding day :) it's so nice, seeing the snowy scenes all around :) Celebrating a very special anniversary day :) It's amazing ,how it's been 5 years since our incredible journey to Maryland to pick up Holly :) We remember it like it was yesterday :) during our journey, we drove through Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and into Maryland, and saw lots of amazing sights :) We drove across historic bridges, and also saw 2 NFL football stadiums (M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland, and Met Life Stadium in New Jersey) :) We have a very special tradition on January 16th :) when we went to pick up Holly in 2019, we brought some BBQ chips and powerade :) each year on January 16th, we have some BBQ Chips, and powerade to celebrate :) Holly and i are going to watch a movie tonight :) We're very heart happy and excited, sharing in and celebrating this very special day ,sharing memories, and stories :) We've also been enjoying some treats, and some sports radio :) The divisional round of the NFL playoffs are all set, with 4 awesome games next weekend :) There's lots more great things to loook forward too :) Thank you angel friends, for sharing in and celebrating these very special times with us, and for all of the great joy you bring our hearts :) We love you all bunches and bunches! :) Enjoying a very special, super sweet, and wonderful day, with family, friends, anniversary celebrations ,and the sweet spirit of the season :) Tomorrow's super wednesday! :) mailing envelopes here from home ,and the ghost hunter party is on!! :) Whooooo!!!!! :)

This morning, we had a wonderful new day, rising and shining :) January 16th :) my mom's and dad's 59th anniversary, and 5th anniversary of Holly living with us here in CT :) i was up early this morning, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) it's a snow day here :) a beautiful winter wonderland all around ,that's glowing bright :) It's very special how it's snowing today, as my mom and dad have shared stories with us, about how it snowed on their wedding day :)we're so happy they are getting to share some very special moments, and memories, of their wedding day, and that awesome memory of it snowing when they got married :) wishing everyone safety, and warmth, through the wintery weather. i bundled up warmly for my nature walk this morning :)schools are closed, for a snow day :) i gathered a nice bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) The winter wonderland greeted me :) it looks awesome all around, with the snowfall, winter nature glowing :) i saw some sparrows birds this morning :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) it's our second winter wonderland snowfall of January :) i love taking in all of the peaceful snowy nature scenes :) it's so nice, all of the nature that shines during winter season :) i saw mr. nut squirrel enjoying some goodies, he was up on the tree branches :) it was great seeing him, and our other nature friends :) They're enjoying a sweet treats tuesday feast :)awww! :) Happy snowy winter nature smiles! :)

It was a sweet spirited ,and peaceful early morning :) it's one of our favorite days and traditions ,sweet treats tuesday! :) We love this very special tradition :) a very special thank you for Alyssa :)She stopped by and brought a nice sprite soda from mcdonalds :) We enjoyed a nice sweet treats tuesday breakfast :) Holly and i enjoyed some pancakes, and raisin bran crunch cereal :) We're also enjoying some hot tea with peppermint candy, water, and sprite soda :) Cheers!!! to sweet January celebrations! :) my dad was up around mid-morning :) Holly and i wished my mom and dad a happy anniversary, and gave them a happy anniversary card with money :) We all wished Holly a happy 5th anniversary of living here with us :)my mom and dad and Holly, are enjoying a wonderful anniversary :) they love all of their wonderful happy anniversry wishes :) my mom and dad gave eachother anniversary cards :) We've been enjoying some foods, snacks, cake, and drinks :) my dad also bought a nice apple pie for my mom :) my mom and dad share a wonderful love story, of when they met, and became friends, and eventually began to date, and got married :) They love sharing stories, and very special memories with us :) on their wedding day, they had a winterstorm, and there was worries that the minister wouldn't be able to make it in, to the chapel, but was able to make it, and they got married : )They have driven us during car rides, past the area where they got married :) they had my brother's Charlie and Bobby, and Lisa, and in the early 1980's, had me and Jenn :) their first house was in Niantic, CT, and they moved to Norwich here, in the early 1970's, and have been here every since :) We love my mom and dad, and are so happy and excited, celebrating their anniversary today :) We enjoyed a nice lunch together :) We had shrimp with cocktail sauce, and also enjoyed some strawberry cake :) a very nice lunch :) we were sharing stories ,and memories :)

It's amazing ,how it's been 5 years, since our incredible journey to traveling to Maryland, to pick up Holly :) we remember it like it was yesterday :) We have lots of very special memories, and stories of that time ,and that day, and how very special it is, how my mom and dad traveled with me, on their anniversary, January 16th, to pick up Holly :) The beginning of that journey, began on January 9th :) it was that morning ,i was talking with my mom, and we were talking about Holly and her situation (She had been living in a very rough situation with a lady, who wasn't nice, and it was very rough for her). i remember calling Holly that morning ,it was a wednesday and asked her if she would like to move here to Connecticut with us :) her reaction on the phone was amazing as she said, "i sure would!!!" :) awww! :) she had to get some things in order, and it gave us all time ,to get things situated here at home :) i remember working very hard, about 4 or 5 days, here downstairs :) my brother Bobby, and his family had lived down here years ago, and then Jenn and Mike, and Alyssa and Aj, and the triplets, before they got their own homes. it needed lots of work down here. i remember going on DS early to write friends,and then would come downstairs here for hours, working, cleaning, painting ,my dad and mom chipped in, and family donated furniture, we had our couch down here, and also bought a mini fridge :) we put new carpet down ,and had it all set, and ready :) i remember that January 15th evening ,i had worked so hard, and could barely sit up, but ws so happy and thankful to have accomplished getting everything ready :)

That morning, January 16th, the big day we were traveling to pick up Holly in Maryland :) i woke up at 4:17am, and was getting ready, my parents got ready too :) we had rented a mini van, and began our journey to Maryland at 6:01am :) it was very early :) we go gas at chucky's gas station, and began to drive across Connecticut :) the sunrise was incredible that morning, it was glowing orange all around us :) We drove past many areas, as we made our way closer to NY :) i was keeping friends updated here on DS, and through text message ,and calling Holly and her friend Linda :) We drove into New York, i had my digital camera, and was taking lots of pictures :) We drove across the Tappan Zee Bridge, it's over the Hudson River :) We entered into Albany, NY, and continued our journey as we made it into New Jersey :) i thought it was so cool, seeing sights where they filmed the opening sequence of the Sopranos show :) the new jersey turnpike is very long ,we were on a straight-away for about 2 hours :) We eventually entered the state of Delaware, and went across our first ever suspension bridge, the Washington Memorial bridge across the Delware River :)We saw signs, that said Washington DC, and Philadelphia, and how many miles we were from there :) we used a nice GPS, on our journey :) we eventually entered into Maryland ,and Baltimore :)We saw the city of Baltimore, M&T Bank stadium where the Ravens play their home games, lots of classic games there over the years that Holly and i had watched on tv, cheering on the Ravens :)

We drove through the Baltimore harbor tunnel, and eventually in Ellicott City to pick up Holly :) we all were very happy and excited to see eachother :) we went with Holly to her bank, and then into Elkridge, Maryland, where she had her belongings in storage unit, we went in with Holly, and got all of her items, packed into the mini van :)We went to a convenience store, and got some nice wedge fries ,and also enjoyed some BBQ chips and powerade on the way home :) on the way home ,we saw the M&T bank stadium again ,we also drove across the Delaware bridge again :) as we got into New Jersey, we were cruising along ,we got to see the Newark, Airport at night time, it was glowing ,with planes landing and planes taking off, it was incredible, all of the lights, and seeing the city of New jersey at night time :) We also saw Met Life Stadium, where the Giants and Jets play their home games, and that stadium hosted superbowl 48 :) We drove into New York, and went across the George Washington Bridge :) we got to see New York City, at night time with the buildings, it was incredible view! :) we'll always remember it :)

We eventually entered back into Connecticut, and drove across the Pearl Harbor Bridge (nicknamed the Q Bridge) in New Haven, CT :)The lights on the bridge glowing bright blue :) We were about an hour from home :)we made really good time, getting home that night, i remember we got back into Norwich, and it was approaching 10pm :) We drove up our street, and in our driveway, welcome home Holly! :) it was 10:01pm :) an amazing journey, that spanned across 5 states, from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland :) a very special journey :) We love Holly are are so happy and thankful to have her in our family :) i remember when Holly first walked downstairs here, and over the months, us making our downstairs apartment ,a wonderful month of our home :) i wanted Holly to get settled in first, with all of her belongings, and eventually i moved all of my belongings, from the old computer room, here downwstairs, from my writing area, cabinets, and more :) it was about July that year, when i had fully moved all my items downstairs here :)

We've been sharing lots of stories, memories, and lots of great memories, and sweet moments today :) keeping with the tradition of January 16th, Holly and i have been enjoying some BBQ chips, and powerade :) We'll forever be very thankful, and appreciative of how my mom and dad helped Holly get home here, on their anniversary :) it'll always be a very special memory in our hearts :) We love these very special times, and hav some nice pictures to share from today, and also pictures from our journey to Connecticut to Maryland ,and back home :) We love sharing in many very special times, these wonderful 5 years, that Holly has been living with us, and so much more to look forward too :) January 16th, a wonderful day to always and forever remember :)

There's so much more to look forward too, as the new year continues to blossom, and the season continues to shine :) The winter season is filled with lots of awesome seasonal festivities, traditions, and birthday celebrations to share in :) We love the special times, and celebrations from month to month as the year goes on :) We're so happy to celebrate all of the excitement of the new year, 2024 :) The football season playoffs :) plus basketball season in full swing :) We love cheering on the teams! :) We cherish and treasure, the many special memories being made :) We're very happy, thankful, and blessed, to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in these very special times of the season with you all :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us, for comforting us, uplifting our spirits, brightening our days, and for the very special joy you all bring our hearts :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) Big group happy sunny warm caring friendship hug :) We wish everyone a nice peaceful evening and night :)

A Wonderful Journey from Connecticut to Maryland, and back home! :) We're celebrating Holly's 5th anniversary of her living with us here in Connecticut :) it was an incredible journey, traveling to Maryland, seeing lots of awesome sights, and the excitement and spirit of the adventure :) We're very heart happy and thankful, that Holly is here with us :) i have some very special pictures to share ,from our wonderful travels on January 16th, 2019 :)We drove through 5 states, across lots of historic bridges, and lots more :)
