Happy About 37
So Baxter is helping with the alpha-1 antitrypsin augmentations. We get the product free for 1 year. But in the meantime I have to try to find insurance. We've been through all that before this new diagnosis and been turned down. So I applied for MediCal. It took like way longer than the 45 minutes they said it would take. I looked up everything and filled in everything. We shall see. I'm pretty sure I don't qualify for it, but maybe. I believe they count your cars and toys and stuff against you. Which we do have some of those things from when we made more money. Anyways, the economy is not the subject I want to talk about. We're doing okay. We have a home, we have food, we are together, we have our dog.
Happy that Baxter helps us. Don't know what we'll do when the year is out. The medicine costs $100,000 per year. Hahaha. That's incredibly funny. We'll get to that bridge later.
It's raining here today. A soft, quiet rain. It smells so wonderful outside. Mmmm.
I laughed so hard at Modern Family the other night. Phil's-osophy had me rolling. I love that show!
Think I'll smile again today. Life is good.
