Happy About 34
Yay, the housekeeper comes today.
Sunday we spent the afternoon with the whole family. It was so wonderful and not near long enough. We went to Yosemite Lake and just hung around and threw rocks in the water. Jeffer and Bob had a rock-skipping contest. I used to be able to that, now, not so much. Everyone brought a bit of food for a delicious picnic. We have 3 beautiful children + 1 awesome son-in-law and 3 amazing grandchildren. I am completely in love with all of them. Grandpa Frank (father-in-law) came and hung out too. Perfect day, perfect family.
Sunday was also Amy's birthday. She is my oldest daughter, and she died when she was just 13 years old. She was my shadow and my first baby-love. I miss her every day. Her birthdays and death days hit especially hard. I am so happy I got to experience her. What a brightness she adds to each day.
I am happy to be alive. Very happy. And content. So content.
