Happy 4th!

I started the day out grocery shopping. We went to BJ's and I got a bunch of food. All of which I had to push in the cart, load into the car and take into the house. I'm talking a case of water, 4 cases of soda, a big bag of cat food, 20 pounds of chicken and so on. Geo hurt his ankle, so he wasn't able to help me with any of it. Tomorrow I have to wake up early again and do some more shopping, but it's going to be light shopping. We got the most of it done today. Then we went over to Geo's dad's house and had lunch. It was steak, corn and potato salad. It was really good.
Geo's ankle is still hurting him pretty bad, and I'm having to deal with Geo in pain. He got mad at me for getting water for hurricane supplies, and then apologized for it later. He gets really fussy when he's in a lot of pain and hot. And today it was hot... heat index over 100. It rained later on, so that really cooled it down a lot and it was nice. I wanted to take a walk in the rain, but I didn't. I've been feeling tired lately, and I wanted to lie down. It's getting late here, and I need to go to sleep soon. As soon as I'm done with this I'm going to go to sleep.
Mood today was good... I didn't give in to Geo's anger and get into a fight... I held my tongue. I don't know how to bring up some of the things he said without causing a fight, but I need to figure out how. I don't know how it got so late so quickly... Food today was bad.. went -way- over my calories again. And I think I'm going to do the same tomorrow when we go out for Geo's brother's birthday. I'm looking forward to the day, though.
