Happy 4th

Hi Sweetie,
Sitting here tonight by myself thinking about all the 4th of July's we spent together and how much fun we used to have.  I miss you so much.  Life just isn't the same anymore.  I'm watching the fireworks on TV from New York and remembering how much fun we had when we went there.  Remember trying to find the Statue of Liberty and crossing over that bridge and all of a sudden, there it was.  We had so many great times together.Michael & Kami rented a lake house on Lake Michigan and I went up there to spend the day.  The drive was so boring without you.  We went down to the beach and all I kept thinking about was how much you would have enjoyed seeing the little ones playing in the water and sand.  We spent about an hour on the beach then went back to the house.  Michael cooked sausages on the grill while Ethan,Beckett, and I played ball.  Ethan kept calling me his "Coach". Beckett was playing with my phone and got so excited when he saw your picture.  I have a picture of you & I from New Year's Eve as my screensaver and when he saw that all he kept saying was "Papa..Papa..Papa".  During dinner Ethan (who by the way is now 4-3/4 years old} asked me if when I go home did I have to sleep all by myself since Papa is in heaven with God now?  The innocence of kids.  I'm so glad they talk about you and remember you - especially Baby Beckett.  We all miss you so much.   I keep telling myself that I was so blessed to have had you for 36 years but I'm selfish and always wanted more.   I love you so much but will try to be strong and make you proud of me.
