Happy Day!
I got some money from my SSI today! I was bad with food- I ate junk food (Taco Bell and pizza) but I've been on a diet of chicken for way too long. I'm going back to chicken tomorrow or Friday, but I'm just enjoying the freedom of having a bit of money in the bank. I paid some bills, and I'm going to save money to pay back the people who have helped me out through this hard time (like Geo's mom... we owe her over $2,000 and my stepdad) and having a bit of fun. I got a new computer (I have been looking for a while, and there was a really good deal so I got it) which was a big expense, but it's the biggest thing I'm going to buy for myself. I may or may not go to LA to see my family soon... I was looking at ticket prices a couple days ago and they had a $99 sale, now it's $119. I know it's just $20 each way, but these things add up.
I went out and walked a ton today! I have the sunburn to prove it. I went to a couple different stores in the area to see if they had any in-store deals that beat the deals I found online, and I did find one, so yay! I am so red, though. I'm just so happy that I have money in the bank. I can't tell you what a relief it is! I look in the fridge, and there is food in there, I can check my bank account and I have more than $20... I feel like I'm living the high life! And if someone thinks I might be manic, that may be... I'm not sure. I woke up before 6am today, but took some K and fell back asleep until 11. Last night I went to bed around 11:30 and fell asleep really fast, which doesn't happen if you are hypo. *shrug*
Today has been good... it's almost like a dream!

Im so happy for you!!!! This is great dont have to worry as much and can buy the things you need. I noticed you had tried to chat and i wrote back but it didnt work.... hmm dont know whats wrong with it. Youve worked so hard at holding it together and its been a hard road not having the money for things you needed like food and meds... enjoy it and you do deserve something like a new computer and one day of food that isnt on your typical menu... relax and have fun :) Biggg Hugzzzz so happy for you!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I\'m just so relieved to have money in the bank and food in my fridge. It\'s funny how when you have nothing, something small like a full fridge is enough to make you happy.
