Happy 58th Anniversary to my mom and dad! :) Happy 4th Anniversary of Holly living with us in CT! :)

Happy 58th Anniversary to my mom and dad! :) Happy 4th Anniversary of Holly living here with us in CT, and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! :) We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) We're very heart happy and excited, to share in the sweet joyful times of the month of January with everyone :) You all are with us in spirit :) We're having an anniversary celebration for my mom and dad, and also for Holly :) it's amazing how it's already been 4 years, since that incredible journey we had on January 16th,traveling to Maryland to pick up Holly, and all of the exciting and awesome sights we saw, including driving across many historic bridges :) We're all sharing in some sweet moments and memories today :) Holly and i gave my mom and dad a happy anniversary card we made for them, and put money into the card :) We've been enjoying some foods, snacks, and drinks :) my brother Charlie got a nice anniversary cake for my mom and dad :) We're loving the day,and so happy and excited for all of the great memories being made :) We love sharing in ,and celebrating these very special times with everyone :) i've got some cool memories to share, from our trip to Maryland in 2019, and some awesome pictures from that day too :) Also some sweet classic pictures of my mom and dad from over the years :) it's a wonderful day :) We've had some sports radio on at times today, we enjoyed the football games this past weekend :) the games were very exciting :) 5 teams have advanced, and 1 more will advance tonight, Cowboys vs Bucs :) We're planning 2 football party's for next weekend :) my mom might make lasagna next sunday :) i'm continuing to take good care, getting my health back :) i'm not back to 100% yet, but am on my way, getting good rest, keeping hydrated :) i'm definitely feeling better than friday/saturday. Sweet Anniversary Celebrations Day Moments! :) This morning, we had a wonderful new day, rising and shining :) We love January 16th :) We all wished my mom and dad, a happy anniversary, and we wished Holly a happy 4th anniversary of living here with us :) it was a sweet joyful morning :) Lisa stopped by, and brought my mom and dad some nice baked goodies she baked for them :) my brother Charlie stopped by yesterday, and brought my mom and dad a card ,with money ,and a pepperidge farm cake :) Holly and i made a nice anniversary card for my mom and dad, with a flowers design ,and gave them money inside the card :) my mom and dad love displaying their cards :) Alyssa and family are coming over to visit thi evening :) We're going to have grinders sandwiches, shrimp, lobster, scallops cakes, pizza, and also having some cake :)

Thank you angel friends, so very much for sharing in and celebrating this very special day with us :) January 16th is a wonderful Anniversary day for us :) We're very heart happy and excited for all of the great times being shared :) my mom and dad met back in the 1960's, here in Connecticut :) my mom lived in Waterford, CT, and my dad moved here, from Maine with my nana Paula :) my mom and dad met, and became friends, and eventually became a couple and got married in 1965 :) they love to share stories, and memories of their love story, and how they got married back on January 16th, 1965 :) they love to share about how there was a snowstorm that day,and they didn't know if the minister was gonna be able to make it to the chapel to marry them, and was very happy the minister was able to travel there, for their wedding :) my mom and dad got married when they young, which was very common back in those days :) my mom and dad had their first home in Niantic, CT :) they began to have a family of their own ,with my brother's Bobby,Charlie, and then my sister Lisa, and my sister Jenn and i in the 1980's :)

my mom and dad love to take trips down memory lane, with visits to Waterford, CT, New London, and Niantic, and they drive past their first home, and they love to share lots of sweet and special stories with us :) it's really nice, and a special joy, hearing their memories :) back in the early 1970's, my mom ,dad, along with my older brothers and Lisa moved here to Norwich, and have lived here ever since :) my mom and dad keep in touch with some friends over the years, who remember when they got married, it's really nice :) my mom and dad share a great love story, we're so very happy and excited for them, celebrating their 58th anniversary today :)We love to make the day very special for them :) it warms our hearts, and brings us a lot of great joy, getting to share with you all, our dear angel friends :) Holly and i will forever be very thankful for my mom and dad and something very special they did for us, back on January 16th, 2019 :) It's the very special day they drove with me, to Maryland for us to pick up Holly :) it's amazing, how it's the 4th anniversary already, and for them to drive all the way to Maryland on their anniversary day, it's really special to our hearts, and we'll forever be very grateful, and appreciative :)

We all remember it like it was yesterday, when we were getting ready to travel to Maryland to pick up Holly :) it was January 9th, when i talked with my mom about maybe Holly moving to CT with us here :) my mom talked with me, and also my dad, and we thought it would be great :) i remember that week being very spirited :) lots of hard work too :) our basement/downstairs here, needed lots of work. i remember getting to work as soon as i could, and doing lots of cleaning painting, organizing :) i used this lamp down here, as it was dark, and i remember getting paint on the lamp pole, and it's still on the lamp, and these 4 years later, i see the lamp and think about that amazing week, and lots of accomplishments down here, cleaning, organizing,and making it a nice home for Holly and i, and eventually for our Tiger cat too :) We have some really sweet memories from January 16th ,2019 :) my mom ,dad, and i woke up early that morning, and i remember coming downstairs here before we made our journey,and i put a cool turtle decorative on nightstand i set up for Holly, she loves turtles :) my mom, dad, and i left our home here around 6:01am, and went over to the chucky's gas station :) You all were with us in spirit during the journey :)

We had rented a mini van, that had wifi, it was really cool :) We then got onto the highway,and the sun was rising up, it was awesome cool, seeing a glowing orange/yellow sky all aorund, as the new day was rising and shining :) i remember us traveling across CT, into New York, and saw the signs that said, New York City, and Sleepy Hollow NY :) i began texting with friends, and Holly's brother, and i remember us continuing our journey through numerous states, we drove across the new Tapanzee Bridge over the famous Hudson river in NY, and i remember it being so neat :) Holly's friend Linda calling me when were in Albany, NY, the capitol of New York :) we drove through New Jersey, seeing all kinds of sights, businses, and more :) even some places where they had filmed the Sopranos show! :) i remember using my mom's phone, to post messages/mini journals about our travels :) We saw signs that said Delaware, Philadelphia,and even DC :) We drove across the historic Delaware memorial bridge, which is a suspension bridge, it felt cool driving across the Delaware river, which is very historic and famous :) we were seeing so many cool sites :)

our journey brought us to Maryland, Baltimore, where we drove through the tunnel, and then near inner harbo, and past M&T bank stadium where the Baltimore Ravens play :) it's first time i saw, an NFL stadium in person! :)super neat and cool! :) it was very special when we entered into Elkridge, Maryland where Holly was :) it had snowed there, and was neat to see the snow :) i remember bringing in the Maryland air, and thought to myself, "Hey, i'm breathing in the Maryland air for the first time!" :) When we picked up Holly, she was very excited, and even skipped down the side-walk! hehe! :) We went to her bank first as she needed to take care of her bank business, and then went to her storage unit :) Holly needed to pick up her belongings there, and it was such an adventure, as we had gotten these huge pull carts,and we helped Holly put her items/boxes on the carts, and went outside :) we were able to fit everything into the minivan, and then went to Royal farms convenience store, my mom, dad, Holly,and i got some wedge fries, and my dad got some chicken ,and we then made our way home :)

On the way home ,we saw the stadium again, and drove across some more bridges :) i remember we were getting back into New Jersey ,we saw the city all lit up, and the newark, air port, it was amazing ,many lights, planes landing, it was incredible to see!:) We drove back into NY, and we got to see New York City all lit up, and thought about how many times we saw on tv, in movies, NYC, and to see it with our own eyes, it was incredible moments :) We also drove across the historic, George Washington Bridge too :) it was super neat too, as the bridge has been in some scenes in movies, which is really neat :) we had such an amazing view of NYC, and back into Connecticut, Holly's first time in CT, we drove across the Q Bridge, which is the Pearl harbor memorial bridge, it was lit up in blue, with it's lights lit :) we arrived home from our journey, at 10:01pm, it was such a day, and incredible journey :) i remember first time Holly walking into our home, and she was so happy,Lisa was still up, and we were all hanging out in our kitchen :) Holly was very happy to see our downstairs home :) it was a bit empty as we had to move all of her items in, and eventually we began to fill our home more and more, including me moving all of my items, treasures, computers, from the old computer room, downstairs here into our downstairs appartment :) it took us a really good, 6 to 8 months to really settle in with all of our items, decorating :) we made it a home of our own, which we love very much :) this is so much fun, and pure joy getting to share these cool stories, memories, and smiles shared, from that wonderful January 16th day 4 years ago, and today too :) i've got some sweet pictures from that day to share in my journal today, along with new pictures :) Happy January 16th Anniversary day celebrations smiles :)

As the new day was rising and shining this morning, i was up early, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) i'm continuing to feel better, and continuing with the good care :) keeping hydrated :) i bundled up warmly for my nature walk, gathered a nice bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i put lots of goodies around our backyard ,for our nature friends :) there's been lots of birds, and squirrels visiting our yard :) it's a bit windy,and we had some sleet, freezing rain in our area yesterday. We're all keeping warm :) i made a nice hot tea with peppermint, when i came indoors and we enjoyed a nice annniversary day breakfast :) Cheers!!! to sweet anniversary celebrations! :) Holly and i put some sports radio on :) We're loving the football playoffs :) we're planning 2 football party's for next week's games :) next weekend, are the 4 divisional round games, where the winners advance to the epic, and historic, championship sunday the folllowing week, for the AFC and NFC title games to see which teams advance to the superbowl :) it's gonna be awesome! :)

We're enjoying a wonderful day, celebrating my mom's and dad's 58th anniversary, and the 4th anniversary of Holly living here with us in Connecticut :) my family, Holly, and i are in good spirits :) We're loving the day, and cherishing in all of the sweet moments, of this very special day sharing lots of great joyful moments with family and friends :) You all make these times very special, and memorable for us :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) We're very heart happy and excited, as we settle into the evening of this wonderful day :) We're enjoying some foods, snacks, and drinks :) Lots of smiles, and memories being shared today :) Tonight, Holly and i are gonna watch some of the Cowboys vs Bucs playoffs game :) The playoffs are in full swing :)Congrats to the Bills, Giants, and Bengals on their sunday wins ,and Congrats to the 49ers and Jaguars on their saturday wins :) the divisional round games are getting set, for next weekend :) We've been tuning into some sports radio today, we love all of the football talk :) Tomorrow's sweet treats tuesday! :) We look forward to enjoying some nice treats here at home :)

There's so much more to look forward too as the month of January continues on :) Lots of seasonal festivities, and traditions :) We love the special times, and celebrations from month to month as the year goes on :) We're very happy, thankful, and blessed, to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in these very special times of the season with you all :) Thank you angel friends, so very much ,for all that you do for us, for comforting us, uplifting our spirits, brightening our days, and for the very special joy you all bring our hearts :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) Big group happy sunny warm caring friendship hug :) We wish everyone a nice peaceful evening and night :)
