my mom (Ann) and my dad (Charles), met back in the early 1960's, and got married, on January 16th, 1965 :) my dad moved here, from Maine, and my mom lived in Waterford, CT. my mom worked at a restaurant, called "the shack", and my dad was an aspiring baseball player, who was scouted by the NY Yankees in the early 1960's :) he was a pitcher :) when he moved here to CT, and met my mom, he eventually began to work in printing. :) he was also a big time bowler, and bowled professionally here in our state, in tournaments :) they love to share their very special story, and memory with us, of the days they first met, and their wedding day :) on that January 16th day in 1965, it was very wintery. my mom and dad told us, about how there was a winterstorm that day, and they weren't sure if the minister was gonna be able to make it to the chapel, to marry them. They mentioned the minister thankfully was able to make it there, and married them :) awww :) my mom and dad spent their first years of their marriage, living in Niantic, Connecticut, and they had my 2 brothers, Charlie and Bobby :) They had my sister Lisa, in 1970, and then moved here, to Norwich CT in the early 1970's, and eventually had, me in 1981, and my sister Jenn in 1985 :) We're very blessed, and thankful, to have wonderful parents, who give us their all, and have given us the wonderful gift of life, and have been there for us, over the years :) A very special Thank you, and a wonderfully special, Happy 51st Anniversary wish, for my mom and dad :) We love you mom and dad, so very much, and we appreciate you, and today, we celebrate the wonderful joy, of your love, and marriage :) Congratulations, and CHEERS!!! to many more years :)
We've been giving my mom and dad, some sweet gifts :) my sister Lisa and Kayla gave my mom and dad, a happy anniversary card, and $100. :) my mom, dad, and i shortly went over to the dollar store earlier today, it was a nice shopping experience, and adventure :) i bought a happy anniversary card for my mom and dad :) i also bought some nice, artificial flowers, a vase, some decorative colored pebbles, to put in the vase, and a nice light also :) i also bought 2 boxes of chocolates for my mom and dad :) it was so nice shopping, and was a smooth experience :) This afternoon, i gave my mom and dad their gifts :) They're so happy and excited! :) in their anniversary card, i put a $5 lottery ticket for them :) They love lottery tickets :) they love to scratch the lottery tickets :) my niece Alyssa, Aj, and the triplets, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden gave my mom and dad, a happy anniversary card, and lottery tickets :) my mom and dad won $60 on their scratch tickets! :)
This afternoon, my brother Bobby and his family, Stacy, Ryan, and Miranda came over :) they gave my mom and dad a happy anniversary card, and some nice foods, from the Olive garden :) my brother Charlie came over. :) he and Barbara got some nice gifts for my mom and dad :)a new skillet cooker, a new can opener, and some chocolates :) awww! :) my mom and dad are so happy and excited! :) We're ordered some nice foods, from the 99 Restaurant, and are going to have some cake :)
PRAYERS REQUEST. my family and i have a special prayers request, for our dear friends, Gaye (LuvMyTitans), her nephew's baby daughter Caroline, their family, and Judy (Ladybug7), her mom, and their family. both Judy's mom, and baby Caroline are in the hospital. we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers, sending healing energy, hoping, and praying for the best of healing. We're enjoying a beautiful day, and a special time, celebrating my mom's and dad's 51st wedding anniversary :) There's lots of great things going on, and very special memories being made :) we've felt your loving spirits with us, throughout the day :) Thank you for making these times very special for us :) We're watching some football this early evening, the Patriots vs Chiefs game just began :) it's the divisional round of the nfl playoffs :) the 4 teams that win this weekend, advance to championship sunday next sunday :) Tonight, Holly and i are gonna have a fun saturday night party, watching some cool funny videos on youtube :) we love our saturday night party's :) Holly's feeling much better. :) She thankfully didn't get a severe cold, and it has eased a lot. wishing us all, the best of good health, happiness, and peace :) one of my new digital cameras i ordered online, arrived in the mail today :) i'm so happy! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us : )You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, caring, and very special friends :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) There's many more wonderful times to look forward too, with family, friends, and nature :)

Hi Chris Happy Anniversary to your Mom and Dad. I am so happy for them. John and I will be married 40 years on valentines day. It don\'t know where the years all went. It sounds like they got a lot of nice gifts from their family. It is always so great to honor your parents. I wish I could remember mine. They were killed in a car accident when I was six years old.
I loved reading about your parents life. It is so cool that you dad was a baseball player. Not many people can say that about their parents. It had to be hard for your dad to leave Maine. Maine is such a pretty state. He and your Mom must really have been in love!!!
Mya and Abby say HI PAWS to their CT animal friends. I miss all the animals here in the winter. They all hibernate this time of the year. We don\'t even have many birds that stay around. I miss the all bird chorus in the mornings when I am leaving for work.

I did get some cold medicine and am going to make a cup of peppermint tea to see if it will relieve my sore throat at all.
