Happy 4th Ya\'ll
Frank and I were thinking about going downtown Houston to see the BIG fireworks display. It is touted as being the biggest display in the country. They are calling it “Freedom over Texas”. We really didn’t want to see the entertainment. They are having Sara Evans, Jo Dee Mesena, and some others. We are really not into country music. We were just going to go somewhere where we could see the fireworks. Then Frank thought we could go to Miller Outdoor Theater to see the Houston Symphony. They will be playing all patriotic music then fireworks afterwards. But now I think we may go up the The Woodlands, where my son lives to see their display. The fireworks will be on a waterway. There will be less traffic up at The Woodlands. I know there will be hundreds of thousands of people downtown. We will probably go up to The Woodlands. Yesterday I went up to Rob and Sara’s to see Christian. Rob had the day off. After he mowed the lawn he filled up the pool I gave Christian for his Birthday, and believe it or not we all got in. Christian had such a good time. Very relaxing and fulfilling day. Whenever I see Christian he lifts my spirits. About my job. I just worked two days this week. Mon and Tues. I don’t go back till Monday. I am glad to have these days off to recoop. I am still feeling very stressed and anxious about this job. I feel she is pushing me to learn more quickly than I am able. The reason is, she wants to go on to her other projects and wants to be able to leave me on my own. I think this is very unfair. You cannot force someone to learn more quickly than they are able. Just the way it is. I am still trying to squeeze in my exercise classes. Weds I went to water aerobics. Last night I tried the Latin impact. It is aerobics with latin music and dance steps. Very exhausting, but very good, but I don’t think I will make it part of my regular regime. Today I went to water aerobics again and tomorrow Yoga. I hope ya'll have seen the pics I posted of Christian's B-Day. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July everyone. Anita

Yes, Happy Birthday America!! Old as Methusela!! LOL I did see Christian\'s birthday pics........they are so precious!!! I hope you enjoy your fireworks tonight!!! We will probably stay home in the cool house................hugs!!!
We wound up going to the fireworks at The Woodlands. Very nice. I posted some pics, but of course they do not do them justice. First time I saw live fireworks in years.
I do envy all these lovely celebrations you have in America.. we don\'t have so much fun here. Its great that you get plenty of time off from work, it will help to ease you into it and you are managing to keep up your exercising.. great stuff.. Just the boss to deal with and I am sure you can... loads of love and luck to you xxx
The 4th of July is very big here. Seems to get bigger every year. It has been nice to have these 5 days off. This coming week I work Mon Tues, and Wed. I will be a lot better once I learn the job and she is out of there. (if I last that long) We have a personality clash. She is a high powered business women and I am more laid back.
Darn it.. always a fly in the ointment. I just know what you are capable of and that you will win her over. I always find at work that it\'s those that I get along with the least that I have to be nicest to.. You could always pretend you are a high powered business woman until she is out of the way.. or give her lots of compliments and praise.. she will probably respond to that sort of thing.. Just don\'t let it worry you.. it\'s not a big deal.. not after everything else you have coped with so well.. xxxxxx
Yes, we ended up at the fireworks ourselves. They didn\'t set them off until 10:10 but they lasted a while. They were in the local Moon park.
I am sorry that work is not well. I had the same experience with a temp job I had. They expected me to be fast at the beginning of the job. It is hard on the self conifdence and makes learning all the harder. But I have faith in you. You are highly intellgent and maybe it will all just clcik and you can relax and enjoy the job.
