my family and i are enjoying a wonderful 4th of July, here at home. :) Kayla and Taylynn, and little Michael were having fun in the pool. :) my sister Jenn and Michael came over earlier. :) my mom began to prepare some nice homemade macaroni salad this morning. :) mmm mmm! :) We love when she makes homemade macaroni salad. :) my dad's been working out in our shed area. :) he's doing a really cool project there. :) he recently cleared by the side of the shed, making lots of nice room, for storage. :) he bought some nice bags of concrete mix, and he has been laying a foundation next to the shed, so that he can put the lawnmower, and also the snowblower, and other items there, for storage. :) it's coming along really well. :) i blossomed into gardening action, on this beautiful summer day, 4th of July! :)
4TH OF JULY NATURE, and GARDENING :) The birds, butterfly's, bumble bees, are all out and about today, gathering lots of goodies, and enjoying the wonderful summer sunshine. :) this morning, i put lots and lots of goodies outside for the birds and squirrels. :) they're so very happy! :) it's like their very own 4th of July feast! :) i even put some small mini marshmallows outside for them, with the peanuts, and bread. :) today, i did some nice gardening. :) my family and i love to enjoy our yard, and gardens, especially on the 4th of July. :) i put some more soil around the stem bases of our potato plants, corn plants, sunflowers, and i also supported our sunflowers, and tomato plants, with nice support sticks/stakes. :) i was so very into this! :) i was gardening in the summer sun! :) i was pacing myself, as it's very hot outside today, in the 90's here. i got the water hose, and i gave the plants a good old fashioned full soaking with the water nourishment. :) the plants are so happy, and enjoying the sunshine today :) i was wetting my head, and my neck, and face, to keep cool. :) i was enjoying such a wonderful time, tending our plants, and spotted some happy butterfly's, floating around our yard and gardens, and the birds have been singing so very happily today. :) a joyful time, to celebrate nature, and gardening, on this beautiful 4th of July holiday. :) i've been taking lots of nice pictures of our flowers, and plants to share with everyone. :)
i picked some more nice fresh raspberries, from our gardens. :) oh my! :) we are LOADED!!! with lots of RASPBERRIES! :) We have enough to bake a raspberry pie, plus we have another bowl full of raspberries in the fridge, and more raspberries are ripening. :) this is so cool! :) we're going to be baking a raspberry pie tomorrow, on baking friday! :) the pie will go along great, with smores, and chocolate chip cookies. :) nature and campfire themed baking friday adventure. :) Kayla and Taylynn went swimming again around mid-day, my dad and i were talking about the hummingbirds visiting our yard. :) i made some more homemade nectar food, for the hummingbirds. :) them and the bumble bees love the nectar! :) i refilled some of our feeders. :) i came indoors, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. :) i came into my air conditioned computer room and keeping cool, as i enjoyed some fresh corn on the cob, and a fresh crisp salad, and i also made a nice starbucks iced coffee. :) CHEERS!!! :) we got some free samples of k-cups coffee in the mail. :) my sister Lisa has a keurig coffee brewer, i made 2 cups of the coffee, so i can make another iced coffee later on. :) cheers! to family, friends, and to the 4th of July! :) my brother Bobby, his girlfriend Stacy, and their baby Ryan came over to visit this afternoon. :) they brought us some nice goodies. :) it's so nice, and sweet of them. :)
4TH OF JULY ROSE CITY FIREWORKS SHOWS :) In 2009, my family and i enjoyed a wonderful time, at the Norwich, Rose City Fireworks show display, by the Marina. :) i remember it very well. :) it was a spontaneous adventure, when we decided to go to the fireworks show that evening. :) We went around 6pm, and got some amazing seats, by the ambulance services building, across from the police station, and there's a huge golden eagle statue there. :) i remember seeing the sun setting, it was so spectacular, a beautiful sight. :) we saw lots and lots of people, all around. :) some were on this side where we were, and some were right down by the marina, at the park there, and i remember around 9pm, the fireworks show began, and it was so cool. :) it was sparkling, glowing sky, as the fireworks lit up the Rose City Sky with 4th of July Excitement. :) it was incredible, and one of our favorite fireworks shows that we've seen. :) i remember making some cool videos of the fireworks shows. :) Each year, i love to share the fireworks shows videos here in my Happy 4th of July journal. :) here are the links, to the videos. :) 2009, 4th of July Fireworks show, in the Rose City :) if you copy/paste links into your browser, the links work :)

my family and i are so very happy, and excited, enjoying a wonderful 4th of July holiday, with you and your family's :) i've got my American flag plate, and napkins here, next to my computer area. :) Tonight, our dear friend Holly and i are going to have a special 4th of July ghost hunters party, and also gonna watch some of the fireworks shows on tv. :) The Macy's 4th of July, and Boston pops fireworks shows, to celebrate 4th of july, America's birthday. : )Tomorrow, Kayla, Taylynn, and i, are going to be having our annual campfire themed baking friday adventure. :) the cookie monsters are uniting! :) We're going to be baking chocolate chip cookies, as raspberry pie, and making smores, an all-time summer favorite treat. :) it's gonna be a super fun baking friday adventure, we look forward to taking lots of pictures, and sharing our adventure with everyone. :) There's lots of great things going on, and many wonderful memories being made :) Thank you all for celebrating with us :) This is awesome fun, and there's so much more to look forward too. :) We thank you all, for all that you do for us. :) Your friendships are very special, and precious to us. :) We love you all very much, our sweet dear wonderful friends. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) we appreciate your kindness, generousity, and your loving spirits, with all of our hearts :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful evening, and night, continuing to celebrate, this very joyful, and happy, 4th of July! :)
