my mom and dad met back in the 1960's :) They were teenagers at the time :) they share a story with us, about when they first met! :) they were at a party in New London, Connecticut, at the house, that is right across from where my grandma currently lives :) my grandma has lived all around New London, CT over the years, but we find it very incredible, how right now, she lives in the house right across the street, where my mom and dad first met :) they were 16 at the time, and became friends :) it was not long after, that they became a couple, and eventually, got married, in 1965 :) my mom and dad love to share stories with us, about how they first met, and their very amazing wedding day :) On January 16th, 1965, my mom and dad got married, on a very snowy wintery day. They share with us, about their wedding day :) they mentioned, that the minister that married them, almost didn't get to come to the church, due to the snowstorm, but did make it, in the nick of time! :) awww! :) my mom and dad, share a very special love, respect, care, and comfort, that they cherish, and treasure, over the years :)
When my mom and dad got married, they lived in New London for a while, and then eventually moved into their 1st home, in Niantic, Connecticut :) they share stories with us, of them living in the home, in the late 1960's, and early 1970's :) they had my 2 brothers, Charlie, and Bobby :) my nana Paula and Grandpa Jack use too come to visit them from Maine :) my mom and dad use too love to go berry picking, and evergreen picking, in Niantic, Connecticut, nearby where they lived :) they use too pick blueberries, raspberries, my mom use too bake pies, and mentioned to get by those early days, she use too work at the shack restaurant, and my dad use too work in printing, and when they didn't have lots of money, those pies/berries, and also, making fried dough, use too help them make it by a lot, to save up money :) my dad got a new job, at the printing place here in Norwich, Connecticut, called "Thames Printing" :) my mom and dad had saved up money, and moved to our current home, here in Norwich :) They had another baby in the early 1970's, my sister Lisa, and in the 1980's, they had, 2 more babies, Me, and my sister Jenn :) there's 5 of us, Charlie, Bobby, Lisa, Jenn, and i :) We feel very blessed, and thankful, to have such wonderful parents, my mom, and dad, who give us amazing love, support, care, comfort, and have done so much for us, over the years :) it's an honor, and a treasure that blesses our hearts, to be ablel to celebrate with them, their very special day each year, on January 16th, their Wedding Anniversary :)
In some of my journals i share during the year, or over the course of the years, you may have read a few times, our special car ride adventures to Niantic Connecticut, and of course, to New London Connecticut too :) These car rides, are filled with story sharing, sight seeing, and memories shared, of a very special deep rooted LOVE, for eachother, that my mom and dad have, roots of love, that first were planted back in the early 1960's, and continue to grow, flourish, and blossom beautifully, each and every day, in the beautiful garden of life :) To Our mom, and our dad, Charles, Ann, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AND CHEERS!!! to many many more! :)
my family and i are enjoying a beautiful time, celebrating ,my mom's and dad's, 49th wedding anniversary :) yesterday, a lovely visit with grandma, and during the evening ,my sister Lisa treated us all, to a delicious dinner :) She got grinders sandwiches for us all, from Vocatura's bakery :) yum! :) it's so nice, and sweet of Lisa :) my family and i gathered, in our dining room/living room, to enjoy the sandwiches, with coca cola classic soda for drink :) it was so nice :) we love, cherish, and treasure, these very special and beautiful times shared, together, with you all with us in spirit :) These times, create beautiful happy heart memories, to always treasure, in the garden of life :)
ANNIVERSARY DAY CELEBRATIONS!!! :) my mom and dad are enjoying a wonderful Anniversary :) We've been spending nice quality time together :) i gave my mom a very special happy anniversary card :) inside the card, i wrote them a nice note, and also included some fun and cool facts, about the year they were married, 1965 :) the prices, the sports, and top tv shows during that year :)my mom and dad were looking at th ecard, they love it! :) i used my nice stampers on and inside the card too :) i also gave my mom and dad, a nice lottery tickets craft :) my sister Lisa picked up the tickets for me :) i taped the lottery scratch tickets together, in shape of a 4 and a 9 (49th anniversary) :) my mom and dad were so thrilled when they saw it! :) they scratched the tickets, and won $8 :) my sister Jenn and Mikey came over :) they brought my mom and dad a happy anniversary cake :) vanilla cake, with chocolate frosting :) we all had some nice cake, delicious! :) this afternoon, we've been hanging out :) my mom made some nice chicken and peppers, to make tortilla wraps for dinner, and my dad made lots of jars of fresh homemade salsa :) yum! :) it's a really peaceful, and joyful day, celebrating my mom's and dad's anniversary :)

This is a beautiful week, and such a lovely day :) Celebrating, my mom's and dad's, 49th wedding anniversary :) we're doing well, and are in great spirits :) spending wonderful quality time together :) i've been taking pictures today, to share with everyone in my journal :) We're so very happy, and excited to share the pictures :) it's very special, and lovely times, shared together :) it's been a big week, and we have lots more to look forward too :) my family and i have baking friday tomorrow, a spiderman theme! :) Little Mikey, Kayla, Taylynn, and i are going to be baking some delicious, cupcakes, and cookies, with a super cool spiderman theme :) it's gonna be so nice :) We love sharing our adventures, it's a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) We're also only days away, from the NFL's classic, Championship sunday :) 3 days, until the big AFC and NFC title games :) Patriots vs Broncos and 49ers vs Seahawks :) my family and i are going to have a championship sunday football party :) We look forward to celebrating the games with everyone :) We may go shopping this weekend too, at either walmart, or the dollar store :) it'll be really nice to go out, we may even go for a car ride, to get a nice iced coffee :) We enjoy, so very much, your beautiful friendships, and we deeply whole-heartedly, appreciate your wodnerful friendships, and all that you do for us :) Thank you angel friends :) BIG GROUP COZY WARM CELEBRATIONS HUGS :) There's many more, beautiful times to look forward too, with love, care, and joy shared, in the garden of life :)

Sounds like a very nice day of CELEBRATIONS!!! WOWOWOW!!! 49 is alot of years and Mom and Dad are to be applauded!!! It\'s hard to weave someone into your life no matter when you get together, and I know a marriage is WORK... I\'m not officially married anymore, but 15 years with Guy has certainly had it\'s ups and downs... CONGRATS to a couple of crazy kidz who met in the 60s and are STILL GOING STRONG!!!
All my pupz went to the vet this morning and Guy came with us as I just can\'t handle all these dogz on my own... When it was Schnauzers, it was easier... NOW, I\'ve got pupz who are not used to leashes so they are not \"perfect pupz\" shall I say... Everybody did great, and a taking an early evening nappypoo... That vet visit took ALL of their energy!!! WooWoo has to return in a month for a booster, but I can do one dog on my own. The vet guesses she\'s 8-10 years old--always hard to know when they CHOOSE YOU!!! Honestly, I\'m so blessed with these sweet pupz!!!
