a very special happy birthday wish, for my little nephew Michael! :) it's his 2nd birthday today! :) awww! :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for your nice happy birthday wishes for Michael! :) Michael is having a super cool, and fun birthday today! :) We had the birthday party at Mohegan Park here in our city. :) it's a HUGE park, with lots of picnic tables, nature, beach, playgrounds,it's amazing there! :) Little Michael, and all of the kids, were having lots and lots of fun! :) They were playing with th ballons, frisbee, golf, and all kinds of fun games,running around. :) There were lots of us there, celebrating little Michael's birthday. :) a THOMAS THE TRAIN themed birthday party! :) Michael is so happy! :) he got all kinds of AWESOME gifts! :) he got thomas the train shoes, toys,train sets, coloring book, stickers, and lots more, plus a thomast the train themed cake, that my sister Jenn and Mike made for him :) We had lots and lots, and LOTS!!! of yummy foods! :) there's grills there in the park area. :)hotdogs, hamburgers, summer salads, yum!!! :) my brother Charlie and his girlfriend came, we were all hanging out. :) other people were walking, running around, having picnics! :) There was even a wedding at the park today! :) wow! :) a wonderful day, celebrating little Michael's birthday! :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) We had so much fun today, at Mohegan Park, celebrating Michael's 2nd birthday. :) The kids had a pinata, they were all taking turns, and got lots of nice candies. :) This was such a great fun time, and lots of very special memories made, to always cherish, and treasure. :) my sister Jenn and Mike put on an amazing birthday party, for little Michael. :) You all were with us in spirit. :)last year, we had the birthday party at Mohegan park too. :) it's becoming a super cool tradition. :) Around 10:30am this morning, we were all set, and ready to go to the birthday party :) it's an absolutely beautiful summer day, in the low 80's, plenty of sunshine. :) my dad and i went in the jeep, we took 2 cars. :) my dad needed to pay the bill at rent-a-center, we went there, and then took the route over toward historic Norwichtown. :) We approached closer to Mohegan Park, and when we did, we saw a FOX!!! :) wow! there was a little fox, near the wooded area! :)
Mohegan Park, is an amazing place here in our city, with lots of beautiful nature, there's the Rose Garden, and also many trails,a beach, pond, lots of wonderful sights to see. :) my dad and i weren't too sure, which way to go, as there's so many routes amongst the park. :) there's a basketball court, we saw about 30 people there playing basketball. :) i remember when i was in school, we use too go to the mohegan park for field trips, and i remember playing basketball on that court. :) my dad and i weren't sure which way to go to the party, we were driving all around there! oh my! we were a bit lost! hehe! but, were ok. :) we drove way across over to the other side of the park, then drove all the way back, to another route, and we found everyone!!! :) WE FOUND THE PARTY!!! :) woot! :) we parked our jeep, and walked up into the picnic area. :) HUGE TREES all around, WOW! :) Those trees, over 100 feet tall, all around there! :) very cool! :)
We were saying hi to everyone, my sister Jenn, Mike, Jenn's friend Zinnie, my mom, Lisa, Kayla, Taylynn, Alyssa, plus my brother Charlie and his girlfriend Barbara were there, and some of Mike's relatives. :) They have kids, and the kids were all having fun running around. :) We wished Mikey a happy birthday! :) awww! :) he had his little Thomas the Train chair, and also his cake was on the table. :) Mike was firing up the BBQ grill. :) they have some awesome grills, picnic tables at the park there. :) We saw other people there, having picnics, walking, running. :) it's a really nice park. :) We were all hanging out, and more guests were arriving. :) Mike's sister, her husband, their children, plus my sister Jenn's friend from school arrived. :) Jenn's friend Katie, who use too live down the street from us, she has a family of her own now too! :) i remember when we were growing up, and Jenn and Katie were good friends then too, and have kept in touch over the years. :) i use too go to school with Jenn's friend Katie's sister, named Christine in elementary school. :) it's amazing, how fast the years go by.my mom, Lisa, Alyssa, and Jenn had prepared lots of nice salads, macaroni salad, pasta salad, teriaki keilbasa, and lots of other nice foods, including macaroni and cheese. :)
We had a really nice lunch. :) The food was awesome!!! :) i had a nice plateful of goodies. :) The kids were all having so much fun! :) there was helium balloons :) my dad, brother, and i were talking. :) my brother watches ghost adventures, he and i were talking about show, we also talked about football. :) i was doing ok, i did have a little shyness, but overall, it was going very well. :) PRESENTS TIME!!! :) Little Michael had such a super fun time, opening his birthday parents. :) he was sitting on his Thomas the Train chair, he went wild when he saw the Thomas the Train coloring book, and stickers, and animal crackers i gave him :) awww! :) i also gave him a happy birthday card, puppies themed card, with stickers. :) my mom and dad gave him Thomas the train themed shoes, a play phone, plus a tablet computer to watch his favorite shows/videos on. :) he got a football, and Lisa, Kayla, Alyssa, and Taylynn gave him, a Thomas the Train, train set. :)very cool! :) he got lots of nice presents. :) Mikey was smiling, he was throwing his football around, playing with bubbles. :) We all sang happy birthday to Mikey :) his 2nd birthday today! :) we all had some nice cake, cupcakes, with strawberries, and whipped cream :) The kid went to the playground down the trail path, they ended up going with my sister Jenn, and some of the other adults, and had fun playing at the playground. :)
The nature surroundings at the park, is so nice. :) there was a wedding at the park today,down over by the playground area. :) we were at the birthday party until around 3pm. :) we wished Mikey a happy birthday, and he was so happy, he was waving to us all, as everyone began to go home :) there were lots of us at the birthday party today, i think at least 25 of us there. :) a wonderful turnout, for Mikey's birthday :) he is very happy, and loves all of his birthday gifts. :) he was giving everyone a hug today :) Awww! :) we have lots of very special memories, from Mikey's birthday, to always treasure. :) we thanked Jenn and Mike, and everyone, for the nice foods, and drinks. :) an amazing fun time today, at the Mohegan Park, celebrating Mikey's birthday :) all of the kids, got a nice bag of candy, from the pinata. :) it was so nice, celebrating. :) i went with my dad in the jeep, on the way home, we drove through parts of our city. :)

Oh dear Chris!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY YOU ALL HAD!!! Such a beautiful park right there in your own community!!! My, it HAS been such a long time since our last reunion at a park--wonderful memories for kids to have especially as a B-DAY CELEBRATION!!!
We mostly worked on the farm, the pups and I stayed very busy all day... First, I watered all of my pots and the house... Then I heard Dumpy crying and could not find him in the woods... Came back out, enlisted Guy\'s help and I finally found in the hayfield with a front tootsie in his collar!!! Poor Dumpy!!! I just knew there was a problem and am so thankful that we found him, helped him, and let him go back to playing with Bella... They had so much fun today!!!

Hi Sweet Chris, I really enjoyed reading your journal about Michael\'s birthday party. It sounds like everyone had a wonderful time. It is really good how you hung in there when you felt shy. I know that feeling especially when there are lots of people. You did a very good job. It is really nice how Jenn made lots of different foods for the party. She did a really good job and how her husband fired up the grill and made things on the grill. There sure were lots of people there. It is nice that there was a piata and all the kids got to take home a bag of candy. Michael got lots of neat gifts. I like what you all got for him. The coloring book and stickers and nice puppy card you gave to him sounds like a lot of fun. It is really nice how Michael enjoyed the gift that you gave to him. I have a hard time taking pictures with a lot of people there too. It sounds like a wonderful park that you had the birthday party at. It will be nice that you will all celebrate Taylynn\'s birthday this coming Wednesday. It was nice that Jenn\'s friend\'s came to the birthday party too and how you keep in touch. Today my day was spent grocery shopping. Its was cloudy,muggy and just beginning to rain when we got home. Annie\'s allergies are in high gear.I give her a benadryl everyday now to help her.
I haven\'t yet tried making jerky...do you marinate it first then cure it? I have mortons curing salt I bought so I am trying to figure out if I marinate it first then do the cure and then dehydrate it. DId some bannanas again and getting better with keeping the slices smaller/thinner.Want to try some apples next.
