Happy 1st day of May!

Wow it's May already! Time has been flying! In Hawaii the 1st day of May is lei day. But I haven't gone out side yet to see if everyone is walking around with leis on or not. lol.  I had an appt down town today but I canceled because my cat Silver has been sick the last few days. He's been sneezing a lot, and staying in bed all day and night. Also staying away from his food. He ate one bite yesterday and then threw up. Today we fed him some cat treats to get him to eat SOMETHING. After that he managed to get out of bed and eat a bite of his food. So far he hasn't thrown up again. I have made an appt for him for Saturday (tomorrow) and we'll see how it goes. BTW, he turns 12 yrs old this month, Happy Birthday, Silver!I've been weening off a medication called metaclopramide for gastroperisis and chronic constipation. I have ibs-c, and for about a year had gastroperisis. I kept having problems with constipation and the medication wasn't helping that much recently but every time I tried weening off I got much worse. I did some research on the internet and found out about magnesium citrate and how to take it properly. It's helping a lot. So it led to my decision to start weening off the medication. So far it's going ok. I really look forward to being done with it. I'll be leaving for VA and OH May 23rd and arriving the next day. Coming home on June 8th. I want to be done weening off the medication and doing well on magnesium before my trip. I don't travel well and usually end up sick / in pain, etc. I'll be going to visit some of Jeff's family in VA and then go to see mom and my brothers in OH. Unfortunately I won't be able to see my nephew since my sister in law took the baby away. I've never even met him yet. :( My sister in law (who took the baby and left my brother) has been posting on facebook about how she has found the Lord, is happy in the Lord, getting involved in women's minitsry in her church, taking a Christian class, etc, and listing these things all over facebook. She also posted "Couples that pray together stay together". How can she post that when she left my brother?? I don't know what to make of all the rest of the things she is claiming about the Lord. I don't know if she is just putting it on facebook as a show or what. I hope it's real and she really gave her self to the Lord. Hopefully it all works out with my brother and they get back together. The kid needs his parents. Found out that the VA hasn't been paying me spousal pay since I got married almost 3 yrs ago. I didn't know anything about it because they didn't inform me that my pay was supposed to change. I found out through another veteran. Anyways, I found the old forms I had turned in and stamped by the VA and they said if I bring it in to the VA the VA could fix my pay and even back pay me! Pray that they actually fix this! Because Jeff is a teacher and doesn't get paid in the summer. We need the money. Anyway,..... this what I have going on.... I hope you have a blessed May! Take care God bless!
