Our founder, Kimberly Franklin, left the crazy corporate world to follow her gifts in the arts and found that it literally “Set her heart free.” She wanted an online store that could reach anyone in the world. Kim operates The Boutique Butterfly from Florida as an online store.

Our jewelry is all designed and created in the USA by American artisans from many different cities who specialize in one or more specific artistic areas and media.

Crystal Dangle Earrings:

The extraordinary earrings that you will find on our online store are all made with genuine gemstone crystals and all are designed to be worn as dangle earrings. We chose dangled earrings with crystals for their simple ability to capture and reflect light as they freely swing around the silhouette of the face.

Our original bangles are made of polymer clay by artist Kimberly Franklin, who resides in Florida. With 20-years of experience in the medium, Kimberly is a trend-setter and an influencer in the polymer clay community. Her work has been shown and sold in galleries in Tampa, FL. She has also traveled abroad and sold her work at shows including a special art show in Napa valley.

Handmade Contemporary Art Necklaces are a trend that is taking off, as people are realizing the value of One-Of-A—Kind at its lasting value! Artisan markets and local artists are now seeing increases in their sales as people are seeking affordable, original jewelry that is not manufactured in China. We offer a select collection of artistic and unique handmade necklaces that will wow all who see you wearing them! Currently, The Boutique Butterfly has a collection of Translucent-Bead Contemporary Necklaces that are artful, eclectic, and yet elegant. Each necklace is made of a special variety of polymer clay known as Translucent Pardo that can be manipulated to create a translucent effect. This light-catching translucence and color is unreal. Each when each bead is completed it is cured in an oven and then it has the strength of hard PVC pipe which it technically is made of. These modern necklaces are strong and durable for many years of wear. The artistic possibilities of this amazing medium are endless!

HANDMADE ARTISAN PRODUCTS:

Artisan products, trades and craftsmen were the heart of early America. But somewhere along the way, Americans became dependent and overly-influenced cheaper, mass-manufactured products the care often imported by third-word countries where labor is often cheaper, but also often abuses human rights. Quality went down and so did American jobs, as did the charm, quality and ornateness of the American artisan products. At The Boutique Butterfly, we wanted to recognize and join the movement of supporting handmade products, which many times are also more unique and higher in quality. We have several categories of handmade products several of which are made by supporting non-profit organizations. Our artisan products include candles, bath & body, and relaxing eye-pillows and warming neck wraps.

Candles:

We offer a large selection of candles in two wax categories all of which have AMAZING fragrances. Our Pillar Candles are made with paraffin, which burns nicely and keeps costs down. Paraffin also throws fragrance so beautifully they will robustly disburse heavenly fragrance to fill several rooms in your whole house! Our COCO candles are SUBLIME in that we used highly refined coconut oil to create these splendid candles that burn cleaner than anything you’ve likely experienced. They disperse their fragrance wonderfully, moreover, the natural coconut wax could even be used too sooth your skin.

Our candles are hand-poured in three layers which infuse fragrance, disperse color, and increase burning time. This method keeps candles burning a long time while equally distributing the effervescent fragrances evenly throughout the duration of the burn.

Our candles are created in California by the Light-4-Life cause which empowers and supports developmentally disabled adults. This program allows these individuals to remain independent with dignity.And they take pride in the blissful candles they create.
