Halloween Count Down!

Every Halloween I do custom costumes for each of the kids. My nephews went to a Zombie festival last week and I did Zombie Make-up for the first time. That was interesting. Insane youtube video instructions paved the way for a very successful bullet wound to the head and a nice cut up face. They had a blast and that's what counts the most. The younger children will all go trunk or treating on the 31st. Should be so much fun. Bailey is going as a scary dolly with her face cracked. This is the first year she has wanted to go scary. Becca wanted to be a Ballerina so it is the first year she has gotten to pick her costume. My niece wanted to be lady gaga but I put my foot down on that one so she as going as gaga from her first music video with some fancy eye make up and a weird dress that was interesting to sew. Nice foam inserts. The younger boys wanted to be ninja turtles. Go figure. They would make it something hard. I went insane with paper Mache trying to make those stupid shells. Mika was easy. He just wanted to be a power ranger and low and behold I had an old costume I made for the twins from last year. So I only had to alter that one. Hardest items this year would have been the shells for the damn turtles and pointy shouldered blue dresses for the Gaga wanna be.. It was fun though. I love this part of being a mom...
