half way there

my breast cancer was operated on.  they did a lumpectomy.  unfortunately, the doc made a hash of the biopsies prior to going to theatre.  if he did a proper job i would have had a mastectomy cos in theatre they took more tissue samples and sent them to the lab.  when i went back two weeks later for the results i was told that the ca was in the whole of my breast.  BUT thats ok.  we'll leave it for now.  have ur tx first.  in the meantime, we'll monitor u with regular mamograms and if something crops up that needs attention we can deal with it immediately if necessary.  i'm sooooooooo frustrated.  i really thought it would be outa the way by the time tx began.  not so!still, on the brighter side, i guess i'm half way there.  i'm still positive and i'm still smiling.
