Haitian Relief Contact Information
As you all know by now, one of our neighbors, Haiti, has been devastated by earthquakes and the people there are desperate for help.
A few of you have written asking where you can send your donations so we've gathered a short list here:
The American Red Cross is pledging an initial $200,000 to assist communities impacted by this earthquake. They expect to provide immediate needs for food, water, temporary shelter, medical services and emotional support. They are accepting donations through their International Response Fund
UNICEF has issued a statement that "Children are always the most vulnerable population in any natural disaster, and UNICEF is there for them." UNICEF requests donations for relief for children in Haiti via their Haiti Earthquake Fund. You can also call 1-800-4UNICEF.
All of us here know the importance of community so please join us in whatever way you can to send our hopes, prayers, and gifts to the Haitian people.

Hey also, if you want to donate $10 to the Red Cross then text the word \"HAITI\" to 90999. (this one doesn\'t work in Canada)
If you are in Canada, text the word HAITI to 45678 from any Rogers Wireless or Bell Mobility phone to contribute $5.00 to The Salvation Army Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief.
I did this and it sends you a confirmation. Every little bit counts :)
They keep saying send money....but they do not have enough blankets, water, medication. The airports are blocked with people and planes, they need someone to come in and organize for these poor people.
and they need more people to dig out the survivors while there is still time.
We pray for them all.

Thank you for letting us know. I am going to donate the red cross and also from my church too. One of my dear friend Jan , they just got there in Haiti after two hours later the earthquake began to shake. Their plans has change. It does not look good at all. Also, they are okay.
