had a lucky day//lots of sales at the hope store//breakfast at the mom and pop cafe//ran errands
went out earlier than usual because i woke up early and didn't feel sleepy. very strange for me. so i figured i'd run an errand and then head right back. i needed to cash a's check and go to the bank and that kind of stuff.
ended up having one of those super lucky days, which actually started last night and continued onward this morning. lol. LOVE when that happens. stopped at the mom and pop cafe with j and picked up sandwiches and an egg on an english muffin. they got my order right this time. which is a big thing for them. seems to depend who is working. ate ouside, then continued onward and went to the hope store, which is a mile down the road.
just plain dumb luck, they had 4 bottles of coq10, which they NEVER have normally, for 80 percent off - and two of the bottles have the L-careteine in it. also found glucosamine for rn. and flea meds for the animals. and cold meds that a wanted. zicam. and allergy meds for me and j, claritin and some other one. you name it, they had it. amazing. then they had pet ag formula that rn needs for the squirrels 90 percent off. seriously! two big things of it. and a hammock for the animals in the back seat (have no idea if those really work, its supposed to make it so they won't slide off and can just lie down). stuff like that. still no foods though and everyone has a different story about it. lots of fun over there.
called everyone. this is what they have. what do you need, kind of thing. rn's joints improved just from the glucosamine i brought over last time, so she isn't in pain today. she was getting shooting pains in her ankles. she has all kinds of injuries from lifting when she was a nurse. too many years doing that and ultimately it affected her lower back and she pulled something. no idea why it affect her ankles. and i always forget that she has that. everyone is in pain all the time. they also had pain relievers on sale for $1. the thing of ibuprofen that she asked for has 1000 tablets for $1. you can't beat that. lmao. love that place. they also had mr. bill dog toys, never saw those before and those nice metal bowls for dogs with the rubber on the bottom so they don't slide. very pretty.
went to a's bank and discovered they charge $5 to cash a check instead of depositing into one's own account. that is the last time i'm using that bank. rn texted that the price a came up with for caring for his animals, she'll accept but she is still giving him the two bills so he knows what things cost. a hasn't called back about the house near the college, and if he wants to bid on it, it has to be by monday i think. i hope he does. it would solve all of his troubles and its such an excellent deal, whether he keeps it or not wouldn't matter.
picked up mail, and all the credit cards are sending out cards with a chip on them now. wonder what the good and bad will be with having cards that are chipped. anything with a smart chip can be traced so that will have a good and bad attached to it.
stopped at arby's last night for their fish special and it was only 30 cents to upgrade the drink to a chocolate shake. so much less than mcd's. also stopped at the dollar store for juice and pop corn. have to remember, can't leave pop corn in the car anymore because its hot out and it makes it stale. the juice is less than half the price of walmart for the same size. the guy was really nice and let a few of us in, just as he was closing. haven't celebrated st. patty's, i'm not really into that - none of us are irish anyway. but generally someone (even me) boils up cabbage, at the very least. totally love cabbage. they also had green donuts at krispy kreme, which seems fun for the holiday and looks gross the rest of the year. lol.

Arby\'s has this promotion here where a small shake is $1 from 2 pm to 5 pm. It has been much of my weight gain.
steak and shake has something like that as well. very dangerous. lol.
larissa, are you signed up in the clubs for free birthday foods and dinners? a friend in real life just signed up and i think they are coming up with better ones than last year. especially ruby tuesday, red robin burger and jj subs. also panera sends vouchers for pastry for no reason. she received three so far. wth?
