Had a Great Monday !!!!

I'm not sure how else to say it but " WOW " !!!!! LOL It's not Often that You can Honestly say that You had a Great Monday, but Yesterday I honestly did ! It was completely due to ONE of My Friends !It's Amazing how Much One Phone, even if it's just Every Now and Then, can make such a HUGE Difference in Your Mood... and in Your Life ! It was Terrific to hear His Voice. The Distance Between Us closes as soon as I hear His Sweet Voice on the Phone. I can Close My Eyes while We're Talking, and Imagine that He's only just in the Next Room from Me, instead of Many States Away !I can feel Him trying to Reach Out to Me across the Miles, with His Words. We Share a " Friendship " unlike Any I've ever had Before. We have Many Things in Common, and I find sometimes it's almost as If We barely need to say a Word because We already Know what Each Other is Thinking.By His Tone of Voice I can tell when He's Smiling. I LOVE the Sound of His SMILE !!!!! Then... On the Other Hand, IF there's Something Wrong, even IF He doesn't come right out, and say what it is, I can always tell by His Voice that something isn't right. He's So Kind, and Thoughtful, that He doesn't like to supposedly " Bother Me " with His Worries, but I Remind Him whenever I have the Chance to, that His Worries ARE MY Worries because We are Good Friends. I'll Remind Him that TRUE FRIENDS are NOT just There for Each Other in the " GOOD TIMES ", BUT They're ALSO there for Each Other in the " BAD TIMES ", too... and He can ALWAYS talk to Me about ANYTHING THAT'S ON HIS MIND... AT ANY TIME ! My reassurement of all of this sometimes helps, and sometimes He'll still insist on keeping his Worries from Me. But I don't Push, because that wouldn't be Right. It's up to Him. As Long as He knows I'm Here for Him, I figure that's what's really Important.I think He was simply raised to believe that " Guys " aren't supposed to reveal that They're Ever Worried, or Stressed Out, over Anything !.. Instead, " Guys " are supposed to be able to handle ANYTHING that comes Their Way during Their Lives ! Sort of the whole, " STRONG, BUT SILENT TYPE " idea, if You know what I'm saying. Plus, I think You'd have to ADD into all of this that behind this IDEA is that IF a " Guy " were to have any " Problem " that He dared to Openly Discuss with Someone, then that would make Him LESS OF A MAN... AND MAKE HIM WEAK because of it ! It's all a bunch of HOOEY ! LOL... But I can't fault My Friend for how He was probably raised to believe, and possibly even how His Friends around Him felt about it also. All I can really do is just BE HERE for Him whenever He wants to Open Up to Me, and from Time to Time I can Remind Him that He can Always Talk to Me about ANYTHING AT ALL. I wish I could do More than that, but You can't fight YEARS of Up-bringing !... and It wouldn't be Right to Try, because then that would mean that You're NOT accepting Your Dear Good Friend AS THEY ARE... Instead You'd be TRYING TO CHANGE THEM... and that's NOT TRUE FRIENDSHIP !!!! True Friendship, to Me, means that You ACCEPT the OTHER Person JUST AS THEY ARE... GOOD POINTS, AND BAD POINTS... EVERYTHING THAT MAKES THEM UNIQUE.My Dear Friend is a Wonderful Person. He has a Giving, Loving, Considerate, and Generous, Heart, and Soul. He is an Amazingly Terrific Man. His Occassional Silence when He's feeling Worried, or Stressed, is NOTHING that I can't look Past... definitely Nothing ! Oh Goodness... Especially when I consider EVERYTHING that was WRONG with My EXbf !!!! LOL
