Had a good weekend

This weekend I drove down to Burbank to visit my family. Mabel (cousin) invited me to go see her paint at her church service, so I went to that - even though it was too long and got a parking ticket. But after we finally got out, we went to a nice restaurant in Glendale where we talked and had bonding time. The next morning Jennie (sister) and I went to get our taxes done. After that we went to go eat breakfast. We also had great bonding time. Her and her boyfriend are having problems and may not stay together. So we gave each other advice on our struggles. While we were talking we realized that there are things that we would both like to do that we have not been able to do because of our partners - things like horseback riding, wine tasting, visiting new places, etc. We decided that we should do these things together!!  Also, I told her that I am thinking about moving back to the LA area to be close to family. She also wants to move out of her apartment so we talked about possibly getting an apartment together. First I need to find a job over there though. It will definitely be a big change to move back after being way for 8 years. But it will be a new beginning and I will have my family close by. The only downside is that my daughter will be far from her dad and won't get to see him as often. I know this will hurt him, but at the same time, he really doesn't spend that much time with her...at least not as much as I think he should. Time will tell what happens.
