Had a big day
I took my nephew to the movies. We met up with a girl and her little sisters, she is in my social group and no she is not the girl I posted about. We watched monsters inc. College years. After that my nephew and I had a lunch at the lake. I noticed an older fishing for cat fish and that is my favorite kind of fishing. So I go over their and start talking to him and it was like talking to an old friend you haven't talked to in years. I talked about my wife and he talked about his 2 ex-wives. He said you know I really loved both of them and I am glad I married them and new love. I miss both of them but they know that they still have a piece of my heart and I know I have a piece of theirs and I'm OK with that. I said Well sir their will not be a day in my life that I wont think about my wife and I agree with you a hundred percent. That man had lived long enough to know some of what heart ache I felt and I believe that fate brought us together on that bank. I think that we were meant to meet at that specific time and I feel blessed. He may have been an angel sent down to help me through this troubling time. Well that's what my mother would have said.
Anyway that was my day and I enjoyed it.

Big hugs~~
Sounds like a great, unexpected meeting. Good for you. It\'s funny how things like this work out. I became close with a couple of the nurse from the ICU that Dina spent the first two months of her hospitalization in. One is my age with a son the same age as my daughter so she felt a strong connection to us. The other nurse is older with two grown children. She was the first nurse I talked to back in December when I thought Dina was going to pass. She was a comforting presence to have nearby and told me her husband had passed when her children were young. Fast forward to Dina\'s services and both of these amazing women were there (as well as many other hospital personnel that Dina touched while in the hospital). I found out more about the older nurse\'s situation that day...she was the same age as me when her husband passed, her oldest child was the same age as my daughter and her husband was a month shy of his 34th birthday, just like Dina. It was mind blowing. This woman I got to know very well over those months suddenly became so much more. Funny how the world works. I\'m not a religious guy but I can say that the only good thing to come out of this horrible situation is that I now have these two amazing women in my life as friends and supporters.
