Well I sent a hug and it somehow deleted my post so here I go again....Know this....we wouldnt have happiness without its counterpart so know that your current level of sadness will be eventually matched with its equal in joy.....wait for it and know its coming!!!
I have no way of proving or disproving the eastern philosofy of karma, but I have seen it in action. It was when I was 19. For all of the bad feelings that I am feeling right now, the rest of my life should be a breeze. I see that sounds like an optimistic way of looking at things. I need to keep the optimism and I hope you are good also.
