Guitar strings

Today, I finally went out and bought new strings for my guitar.  My little E string broke last week and I hadn't been able to get a new one.  Now I have the strings, and I feel so much lighter, so much happier than I have since that day.  There's just something about it.  My guitar soothes me, she makes me calm.  She will always be there for me, and I love her (and yes, she's a she. all my important possessions are named and gendered -- her name's Delilah).
I didn't even realize how much I needed my guitar.  I'm just so pleased.  I can't stop smiling.  Time to change the strings and play. :)
