Guess I should pack?
Heh. I ALWAYS do this. We're to leave in a few hours to head to the airport for our red eye flight to visit my best friend and her family. I have.... nothing packed.
I did laundry, does that count!?
I pulled my bags out. That's something, right?
It's always the same - I wait until the last minute because I can't think of what to bring and then I panic and then I realize -
I have my towel. (Oh yeah, totally went there with my Hitchhikers's reference!)
No, but seriously. I need my prescribed meds, if I'm taking any. I need my ID's and my credit cards. Everything else is just comfort and can be replaced. It's just stuff.
I have set aside my pain meds (sadly, I probably will need them for the travel) and the gift I am bringing to a friend I'll be visiting. I've got my ID's, medical card, and credit cards. Who cares if I bring anything else. Heh. Whatever I throw in my bag will be just fine.

All over times a million. Exhaustion does that to me.
You deserve a break! I too am a compulsive last-minute packer. The thing that saves me is having a permanent packing list on my computer. In fact, I have sub-lists for warm weather trips, cold weather trips, out of country trips, etc. SOMETIMES it works...and now I know it almost by heart. :-)
Nice! I had all my toiletries packed, at least, because of all the overnighters huz and I do. I didn\'t really bring enough clothes, but my friend is used to me being less than a fashionista, so wearing the same stuff day after day won\'t surprise her. Heheh.
Have a good time! As I have always said, time away is to enjoy. If you forget something, a store is always nearby!! The meds, the ID, the credit cards are important so pack those while you\'re thinking about them! The rest is just stuff!!
