guess he is sick
I made an appointment today for T to see a doctor. He has an ongoing sore throat and complains about not having any energy. He told my husband he cannot concentrate in school because he feels so bad. T said he was dizzy and walked into the wrong classroom, disoriented. He could have mono. While he's there I am going to have him give T a few blood tests - one for mono (if that is what the dr. thinks he needs) and two for drugs. The urine screens aren't enough. After his doctor appointment, I hope he will go to school. Not that it matters that much. He isn't doing well in school. I received an e-mail from his former tutor, at school, and she said in one class (at least) he's failing. I'm not surprised because he doesn't bring home any homework. update: Maybe he's "just" sick in the head. I let him sleep in he says he's feeling better and now isn't sick anymore. Wanted to go to school. Urgh! Always the opposite. Oh -- the bong is a bong after all. I checked with my other son and he confirmed it. He told me that it was old and he didn't think T was doing pot. The way T minimized it to me and his counselor and said there was no possible way it could be a bong because it's made of plastic - I almost bought it. He wanted me to describe it as he drew it and then said it can't be one. Boy is he slick! He never batted an eye.
