Can't get T up for school. He says he's too tired. Can't sleep at night. I really don't think he's using. He is giving up. This was the test for T by the assistant principal - if he goes a whole day...he won't report him to his PO for truancy. I am letting this get to me too much. I know that he will be capable of straightening things up in his life on his own time table. It's just hard for me now. When I told him he'll be heading for the 90 day county run treatment center - he didn't even flinch. All he said was "They don't have any openings until November". Guess he just doesn't care anymore.......

Changes in sleep patterns, not drug related, has he had a depression inventory (given his drug use and the behaviors that persist 2+ weeks?) .... Substance abuse often goes hand in hand and masks the underlying cause......Perhaps this is something the counselor can address. No openings until November -- does this mean juvenile until then?
