Guilt

So, the guilt from those two glasses of wine is weighing heavy on my mind. To make matters worse, I left my purse at the restaurant and my husband naturally blamed my drinking for that. I realized it as soon as I got home and called the restaurant. They found it under the table against the wall and are holding it for me. It's a small thing, but I anticipate it will be blown out of proportion this morning. I have never forgotten my purse in a restaurant before and have consumed way more than two glasses of wine, so obviously, it was not the drinking...it just was.
So for my plan. I plan to read this post before we go out to dinner again (or any other social event that could involve alcohol). I need to remember how this felt so that I don't have to feel this way again.
Today's a new day. I have learned something positive. I can drink. I can stop at two. It was not enjoyable and feeling guilty is no fun. It's not worth it! And....I hope I forget my frappin' purse again when there is NOT alcohol involved. Then my husband can be pissy because I was irresponsible! Gee Whiz!
Battle cry for the day : It's a new day. One foot in front of the other. I can do this!!!
