Can somebody PLEASE tell me why it is so impossible to get a billing cycle changed? I am TRYING to get all of my household bills to come due at about the same time so I can pay them all in one sitting without worrying if any of them are late. But nobody seems to be able to change billing cycles! I am SO incredibly FRUSTRATED!
See, things were fine until Mark died. At that point, I lost about a third of my income. Then, in January, my boss cut my hours by 20%. So, I have been working on my budget and thought, gee, I'll just get all my due dates changed. NOT!!!
So here I sit, trying to get a little ahead (hahaha), so I can simply pay a flat amount once a month. Grrrrr......

Hi Mary, I hear you about those cycles. I\'ve got some due on the 15th, the 23rd, and the 1st of the month.Never could understand why this would make sense to anyone, or their accountants, for that matter. Must just be to annoy us! What I did ( I still pay my bills the old fashioned way by written check.) is made a list of each monthly bill with the due date, and I keep it next to my calendar. Since I really don\'t enjoy the marathon bill sessions at the old kitchen table, I mail out 2 or 3 at a time, as the list reminds me. Also, paying your mortgage every 4 weeks, regardless of how early you are paying it by month 11, and you will have a free month, by month 12. You may already be doing these things, but I\'ll just toss it out to you, just in case. Sorry you had a tough day, hang in there, you\'re doing great. I\'m sure Mark is very proud of you.
