Growing Stronger (Temporarily)
I'm working on not spending as much time here... I've left too many things slip while I comforted myself here. I still want to share and have my friends share with me but I do have to get some things done. The next legislative session is in March so just as I've promised I've got to get my next round of letters out. I forced myself to stay off this site until I got some more writing in the book I'm writing. I'm giving myself a very short break to say hello to my friends and to make this explanation for those of you who might wonder where I am. I will check messages and answer daily just not as many times daily as before. I'm very sorry about people not being able to understand that for some of us maybe we grieve longer than they think we should... but its not because we want to... sometimes we just can't get back to "normal" as quickly as some people think we should. We're never going to be entirely "normal" but then who is... I do think perhaps we're taking a step in the right direction to set boundaries for our time on daily strength. There is no reason we can't continue to care for each other. Supporting each other in our efforts to get on with some of the things we need to be doing is a good thing. Love You Elissa

Everything in life is about setting boundaries. Even too much of a good thing can be, well, ...too much of a good thing! It\'s all about quality rather than quantity; in other words, achieving a balance between what we like to do and what we need to do, but may not feel like doing. I think some of us were so thrilled to have people who understood where we were coming from that we wanted to spend every moment conversing with those kindred spitits...sort of like a new love affair. But like any true love, once the honeymoon phase is past it turns into a deeper friendship provided that it was based on true emotions and thoughts to begin with, and that certainly describes this place. I\'m glad you\'ll be sticking around.
I am glad you will still be checking in, I love reading what you write. I understand that you need to take care of other things that are important too, as I know how I have let things slide. I can spend hours on here before I even realize how long I have been on. I need to ween myself from here some and clean this house! I won\'t go away entirely either, have a hard time walking by the computer and not clicking on to check on everyone...I truly would be completely lost without everyone here. Let us know when your book is in print, I want to say I know the author! :) smiles! Take Care~Love, Kat (((((HUGS)))))
I understand about setting limits etc. and simbelsa hit the nose on the head regarding a new love affair. I too felt I had finally found a place to go to be with people who understood and cared. Just the fact that others were in or had been in the same postion as I gave me comfort. I knew that they truly could understand me. I hope to be able to continue on here but at a rate that is healthy for me and those I live with and care for. I hope things are going well for you. Keep in touch.
