Groundhog Day
I feel like Im living in that movie Groundhog Day. When I wake up the same things happen. I want to get a second job and start working my way out of this rut again however I need to be 100 % rested because I dont have the energy to think about that right now. I realize most people have this same problem. My adventurous, wreckless side is pushing me to move out and camp in my car once again. I know this is not the right thing and need to find a way to pacify this side of me. I was talking to a friend last night about camping, perhaps, a real weekend camping excursion. Maybe next weekend. I need to research a way to stay cool though because its so hot here. Ill start looking for a tent on Let Go.
I have a fire pit in the back yard. Maybe Ill get the tent, set it up and mock camp a night. My boss is having me make up the time i missing at the end of the week so im having to be at work 30 minutes early each day. As far as the insomnia, I increased my dosage to 9mg last night and slept better than ive slept in awhile I think. I do recall getting up once last night and shutting the door to my room as roomie snores like a fog horn. Hope everyone has a productive, beautiful day. Sending Light and Love your way.

That very movie shows up in similar ways in my own psychosorting, all the way to the recognition of all the ways I am doing the same things over and over while expecting different results and the insane antics I pull to try to get out of the rut. My personal fave was when Bill Murray dropped the electrical appliances into his bathwater.
I love the idea of some nights by the firepit. Even when I still can't sleep, the restful meditation of watching the flames dance helps me rest on levels sleep can't reach. It even gives me some rest on the score of roomies complaining about my snore. It's no fun feeling like a sitcom nemesis.
Your right...doing things repeatedly expecting different outcomes---the definition of insanity, I may go home tonight and light that fire pit up. I have begged my roommate to get a sleep apnea test done, not for my own selfish reasons, but he has a heart condition and I think he could get better rest himself. And then he's a smoker and I've tried to talk to him about stopping. I guess we all have our vices.
I love that movie! It's all about the law of attraction and how we keep attracting the same things in life ,,,,until we learn to look at them from a different perspective.....from a place of peace and love in our hearts instead of from our ego which is a place of hate and resentment, and an "I am better then you" attitude.
I found this for you which can explain it better then me:

Yes, Sage, that is a wise cliche I have heard all my obnoxious snore years. Remember that I am an Army Veteran and disaster response volunteer. I have heard that song in more voices and campsites than I could count, even if I cared enough to keep score. For sure, I was voted rowdiest sleeper in my WAC Battalion. Perhaps one day I will take that wise and simple advice *for my own good.*
For now I am grateful for the fire pits which provide merciful relief for both myself and the snore haters. I talk and do calisthenics in my sleep, too. . . Perhaps some tongue surgery and sleep restraints to go with the nose job? It is far easier for me to imagine jumping into the literal flames. I am eternally grateful that fire pits are so easy to build and dismantle on the fly.
