Grieving

I don't even know how to begin to deal with this. My twin daughters were both pregnant at the same time. One being 8 1/2 months the other being 9 weeks. The one being nine weeks was basically a single mom. Yesterday I take her in for her first ultrasound. We were both excited that we were going to get to see the baby and hear it's heartbeat. We were devastated when we discovered that instead of a 9 week fetus the baby was only and 8 week fetus that did not have a heartbeat. It had passed away a week ago. Her body has just not passed it yet. She is 18 years old and has decided to let her body pass it naturally on its own. I am trying to be strong for her so have not had time to mourn for my grand baby but I don't know how much longer I can be strong. It hurts so much to see my baby girl hurting and not being able to do anything about it. It's these times that make me question God. I don't understand why my life has to be so hard and so unfair.

Sorry for the lost of your Grand baby. I lost my twins. And my faith in God went downhill. One of my twins was still born & the other lived for 3 1/2 months. Three months she was in a coma (due to hospital negligence), so I had the horrible experience of seeing her on a respirator for 3 months of her precious life. Then she died. I never got to take her home. I still cry for her.

Thank you both. I know it\'s hard on her mother. I lost my second baby and really didn\'t have time to grieve for him because I had my daughter to take care of but now to lose my grandchild. I still have to stay strong. I still can\'t grieve because i have to be strong for my daughter so I pretty much live on my xanax. It\'s hard to not show how you are really feeling. I hate having to bottle everything up all of the time. I tried talking to my mom and sister about it and all they say is that\'s a part of being a mom. I don\'t get it when is it my turn or time to break down? When do I get to let it all go? I lost my son almost 21 years ago and it still hurts because i have never gotten the chance to truly grieve for him or to really say my goodbyes. I guess this is the way my life is just going to be.
