Grief Burst's Are Normal But Painful
I had a very painful grief burst last night. When I can't control my crying and sobbing I get very depressed. My wife has been gone almost a year now. Coming up on the anniversary date plus her birthday is just a week prior to that.
I don't have a grief partner but do see a therapist weekly. It is very hard to get through these periods in my life and have to do it alone. I know God is always by me but I don't always feel him. These grief bursts I know are part of the mourning process and I don't suppress them but let them play their part in my life.
I wanted to go to church today but just couldn't fake my way through it. The church does a very poor job of ministering to widows and widowers. Hopefully someday I will find a calling in the church where I can help those that have lost there loved ones. James 1:27 NKJV.
