Greetings Everyone
It has been a very long week. Lots of work and hardly no sleep or play. But I am actually getting used to it. As the date of MayLyn's demise gets closer I feel the onset of that damn black cloud! I would love to flip it off and make it go far far away, but I know it wouldn't work. I could drink all day and call out from work I guess but that would suck 'cause I know how I feel after a night of drinking and it takes me a lot longer to recover now that I am a little older. I miss her so much! I have been pouring over some of her pictures this past week, like I do every week, silly me. One stood out in particular. A picture of all of us at the church, standing in front of the sign Bethel Primitive Baptist Church established sometime in the late 1800's. And there is a pic in the group of MayLyn at the age of 12 1/2 standing directly over the ground where she is now buried. It blows me away when I have the thought that none of us new that in exactly 12 1/2 years we would be burying our little girl there.I love you all, stay in touch, much hugz.jacqueline PLH

Memories.... Just keep putting one foot in front of the other...I agree about the drinking - takes way too long to recover now & who wants to feel that horrible the next day anyway - we must be growing up. Hugs, Ann
Sometimes it makes you wonder....
Take care--good to see you of fbook.

How could we ever imagine this life that we now have...I wish it were different for all of us...love to you...Karen

Hi Jacqueline,
Nice to hear from you. Those dates haunt us all. It\'s funny how much impact a day can have on us. It will come and it will go, but it puts us through the hoops in the mean time. Take care. Think of you often. Love, Dawn
Who would have thought for an instant we would now be living this life. Your right, drinking not the answer, recovery too long. Just one day at a time. Love and hugs Cathy
Jacqueline,
Somedays we just can\'t avoid. I agree with you and Cathy drinking isn\'t the answer, because the recovery takes more out of us than it\'s worth. I still can\'t look at pictures... they just make me so sad. Sending you hugs and love, Vera
Hi Jacqueline,
I so very much understand . I am not sure if I would be able to look at the picture of my child if it was the spot he was buried. I think that is way to hard. I think I would file that picture for a long time and not revisit it. Hugs, Inga
