Green Smiley Monday
I gotta say I am glad that Sunday is over. Its a lot of pressure to feel good...I did try my best to be fully present with my grandchildren and I saw all of them either Saturday night or Sunday. When we went to lunch yesterday I got to hold and feed Iysabella and that is always a treat!!
I went to the cemetery and cried & left flowers and cards and found myself apologizing to Ed. I have to remind myself that his leaving so soon is not my fault. Oh what we moms put ourselves through!
I do miss my Ed and he knows how much I love him. I hope the card found you, Ed.
I miss my little Kelsey too. She knows I love her and she became my little girl.
How blessed I will be in Heaven to see you both again. Thank you, God for letting me be a mom.
We made it through the "mother of all days" ! Yay! Have a peaceful day. xoxo

So glad to hear you weathered the day and had a blessed time feeding Iysabella. I believe our sons were part of the love we felt yesterday. I also think that what peace we had were gifts from our sons. They know our love all the way to heaven. Don\'t you know that Kelsey had the best MD EVER!!!
Love to you and Eddie....dale, brandon\'s mom
Yes, to be on the other side of these days can be a relief. It\'s almost a surreal kind of day on so many levels as sometimes it\'s difficult to know how to feel? I too was trying to be present to my daughter, her little family yet felt such a profound ache in my heart for my son who isn\'t here. Here\'s to all our angels and pats on the back to each of us for continuing on. Lots of love to you, Linda, and a peace filled week. XO Joanie
We made it my friend sometimes kicking and screaming for me but we made it.
Another Mother\'s Day over. That makes two. Hope you have a good week!
Hugs, Marlene
\"The mother of all days\", I like that. Yes, we can breathe a sigh of relief that we made it through another one.
So glad you have grandbabies near by to spend time with. I would imagine they would brighten any day, even if it\'s just a little. *Hug*
YES YES YES, thank God another Mother\'s Day is over...feels like you can make it without the pain....never happens....I wish i could just take a good sleeping pill and wake up after the day is over...
I like your \"\"mother of all days\"\" kudos!! Nora
Sounds like you were REAL through the day: the happiness of holding your greatgranddaughter and the sadness of visiting Eddie\'s grave. That all we can do sister. (The margaritas were good by the way and the restaurant was blissfully free of \"mothers day.\" But I\'m glad its over.
Whew! We made it!!! I can\'t really say yesterday was \"the mother of all days\" for me....but it was a mother of a day!! I\'m glad we\'re done with that one for a while.....now on to living life in the now helping as many hurting moms as we can...onward we march!
\"Mother of all days\"--that phrase is so well put, Linda. There is just so much emotion invoked just to even say the word...\"Mother\"...
\"so much pressure to feel good\" --yes, so true!
I, like you, feel that I have so much to look forward to when I get to Heaven, being reunited..this gives me hope!
Loving you and Eddie, Donna
Yes we are done with Mother\'s day, Amen. Terry
Yay is right..we made it through...and I\'m thankful it\'s over. For me, it really is a MOTHER of a day...I love that, so true! Today someone even asked me if I enjoyed it...WHAT?!?! Oh well...I guess people don\'t think sometimes. I\'m so proud of you for trying to be present AND happy for you to find some joy with Iysabella. Love to you, Valerie
Linda, I have to say...I am glad Sunday is come & gone. Whew...a tough one this year. Holding and feeding baby Iysabella....has to really bring comfort and peace to your heart. I know Ed had to get his card just through all the love you sent him. I agree with you....Thank you God for letting me be a mom. Hugs, Kim
