Green Smiley Monday
Monday again! As a retired person, it is mostly just another day. Mostly because I like the Green Smiley. It reminds me to reflect - look at the positives, and I am getting a bit more positive.
Today, I am thankful that my stretch class starts again this evening. I hate being there, but I always feel wonderful after. I attribute it to keeping me flexible - I am the oldest person in the class and have been going for years. One of my young friends asked me how old another of friends is (she is a few years younger). I told him she was about 3 years younger than me - he was shocked "she acts so old". When I look at my peers, I realize that I am pretty lucky to be healthy. It is hard to accept that Lisa won't experience what I have but I know she would not want me to give up.
So Stretch Class - Here I come!!

Stretch away my friend. :) This is so wonderful and yes, to awaken with bodies that are cooperating is such a gift. Enjoy tonight and being the \"oldest\" youngin in the group. Thank you for your entry today. With love, Joanie
Hi Marlene, so glad your are able to identify the positives in your life and that is no easy feat after such profound loss. Enjoy your class and so happy you feel so well after it. Love to you and sweet Lisa, Linda
So cute! Yes...keep flexible...and know that I admire you FOR that flexibility! I am NOT flexible...so good for you! Love and hugs...Karen
As usual. I feel quite relaxed after the class. It was good to be back and meet Paula the instructor and \'the regulars\".
Marlene, I SO understand how hard it is to make yourself get up and go to a class... I have had to konk myself on the head so many times... GO! You never regret it! Pay no attention to the little voice that says how much easier it would be to stay home on the couch! Sister, I\'m with you. It\'s good for your lymph nodes to stretch too! Body mind and spirit, you\'re in better shape after stretching and feeling those muscles. Lisa is with you in every move.
