Green Smiley Monday
We survived Christmas better than we anticipated; we ate, laughed, opened presents - I think it was worse wondering how it was going to go. Last year was a blur - we were in zombie mode.
My granddaugther and I had candles burning for Lisa for 3 days. It was a comfort to look at them and think of her and how she would have enjoyed it all. I only had one major breakdown - after dinner on Christmas Eve. I think because that was Lisa's favourite time - setting out the presents under the tree and filling the stockings.
So year 2 was better than last year. We will see what the New Year brings. Now we are off to visit friends for more food and laughter - Lisa will be there in spirit.

Lisa is there with you. Enjoy your food, fellowship and laughter. Love, Linda
Hey...we each get at least ONE meltdown each holiday, anniversary and birthday. So glad it was not as bad as anticipated...that is what we have found to be true...love and hugs...Karen
So good to hear that your Christmas was better this year ~ our second Christmas also was better. We are making new traditions and found ourselves really laughing and enjoying ourselves ~ break downs, of course, but no comparison to last year.
Sending much love and big hugs for peace and the blessing of more healing in 2011 ~ Debbie
